NASA Wants DOGE Co-Chair Elon Musk to ‘Clean House’ after Fiscal Disaster of Biden’s DEI Agenda

NASA spent millions on DEI and ‘Environmental Justice’ grants while laying off real scientists doing actual research and innovation.

In an exclusive report, the UK Daily Mail says NASA staffers want President-Elect Donald Trump’s co-chair of the Department of Government Efficiency Elon Musk to ‘clean house’, as insiders reveal the agency squandered millions of taxpayer money on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs.

LMI consulting received over $2 million in 2023 for NASA to ’embark on a venture to incorporate and deeply engrain diversity, inclusion, equity and accessibility in the culture and business.’

Another $3 million went to Booze Allen Hamilton in March to support NASA’s ‘office of diversity and equal opportunity DEI data analytic specialty,’ and $ 7 million was announced last month for six ‘minority-serving institutions.’

NASA has allocated roughly $10 million to pay out dozens of grants and contracts aimed at advancing some element of environmental justice or DEI since 2020, federal spending records show. The agency is multiple billions of dollars short of the funding required to complete its current missions, has fired hundreds of people working on its Mars missions over budgetary concerns, and may not have enough funding to maintain a multibillion-dollar space telescope, according to multiple Washington Post reports.

Perhaps NASA might actually go to the moon some day?

The only people who want DEI are the ones who make money off of DEI.

Real scientists / competent employees hate that shyte because it makes their jobs much harder, wastes $millions$ on pointless and counterproductive programs, endangers their jobs/careers/promotions for sins they had nothing to do with, and dissuades competent people from taking the jobs to avoid the insanity.

Booze Allen Hamilton needs to be completely removed from any government contracting period. They are one of the heads of the NWO/MIC snake and need to go.

Musk needs to bring down the cost of the SLS rocket, so that it can be viable. Right now there are only 3 of them and when they are used up, the new engines will be astronomical in cost.

Else we will be ceding the moon to China

I am a contractor at NASA. By and large, the worker bees here just want to do the engineering work. It is the senior NASA officials who push the DEI crap and “Muslim Outreach” garbage who are wasting time and money.

NASA’s problems are managerial, not engineering.

Musk's Starship and Super Heavy Booster beat the SLS, I understand. Musk is well on the way to mass production of the Starship/Super Heavy Booster. They are expected to reduce the cost of launch to orbit by about 90%, or 99.8% from what it was 20 year ago.

What they need for a moon base is a way to refuel the Starship in orbit, and they are working on it.

StarShip (SS) the lunar version will not be ready until well after 2030.:

1. SS has to prove orbital refueling not just once, but repeatedly;
2. the Starship has to be man-rated ( usually a four year process );
3. the booster has to be man-rated as well; there is no crew escape mechanism for landing;
4. it will take at least 4 refuelings to get to the lunar orbiter - still in design stages;
5. there is no provision to refuel on the way back from the moon, there is no methane on the moon;
6. the delta-V on return from the moon is an order of magnitude higher than from LEO, and so the materials and the heat shield will have to be redesigned. The list goes on.

SLS, on the other hand, can do the job now in the short term with more cargo than lunar SS. If SLS is not fully funded, then there is no immediate replacement. Do you throw out something that works now in the hopes that something else, as yet unproven, will work at some unknown date in the future?

If SLS is cancelled,then the Chinese will be on the moon for years, perhaps a decade, before SS is ready.

More explanation here:
I loathe SLS! But if NASA and Elon Musk cancel it now, China will beat us to the Moon!
