Sarah Palin appears to be venting her frustration over not receiving one of Donald Trump's coveted cabinet spots after supporting the President-elect throughout his campaign.
The former Alaska governor and GOP vice-presidential candidate, an early and vocal supporter of Trump since at least 2011, made a series of cryptic posts to social media with screengrabs of other users who were questioning why she had not been drafted into his Cabinet.
In one Sunday post announcing breaking news of a Trump nominee, Palin posted a screengrab of a text message with someone asking her: 'What about you?' to which she replied 'Thank you.'
In another frame, she posted a selfie looking calm while writing the pointed yet exasperated words: 'Funny how politics work.'

Agreed. At one time I thought Palin would be the next Reagan. But then she made some unwise choices. It would be unfair to call them bad choices. Because they weren’t bad. Just unwise.

Sarah Palin has some qualities, but her shrieky voice can be a turn-iff to some. Plus her family has some issues.
She wasn’t a quitter. She was pushed out through lawfare after ‘08 because both Leftist and GOP-e operatives under Romney wanted her gone. Unlike Trump, she did not have the financial and legal buffers to withstand.
She should just be happy for the country. I wasn’t aware he promised her a job.

Sarah Palin was fortunate enough to be in remote Alaska able to work with Democrats against the RINO’s in Alaska before her foray into national politics in 2008 forced the Democrats in Alaska to “unfriend” her.
Trump right now with RFK Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard is driving towards getting some of the defeated, demoralized Democrats thinking about helping him overcome RINO roadblocks like Sarah was able to do in Alaska back in 2007-2008.

It’s so sad how the parody and caricature version of Palin has even brainwashed conservatives. Her accomplishments within Alaska as oil/gas regulator. prior to mayor and governor - which included dealing with foreign players - were quite exemplary and were why she caught McCain team’s eye in the first place. Her career was ended through lawfare post ‘08 pushing her out of the governorship. Unlike Trump, she did not have the financial and legal buffers.
