Sarah Palin appears to be venting her frustration over not receiving one of Donald Trump's coveted cabinet spots after supporting the President-elect throughout his campaign.
The former Alaska governor and GOP vice-presidential candidate, an early and vocal supporter of Trump since at least 2011, made a series of cryptic posts to social media with screengrabs of other users who were questioning why she had not been drafted into his Cabinet.
In one Sunday post announcing breaking news of a Trump nominee, Palin posted a screengrab of a text message with someone asking her: 'What about you?' to which she replied 'Thank you.'
In another frame, she posted a selfie looking calm while writing the pointed yet exasperated words: 'Funny how politics work.'

I also like a lot about her- but when she resigned as Governor of Alaska because she did not want to fight against the “political operatives” against her, she lost my backing as a politician.
She lost a house seat. Not sure why she would be expected to win a senate seat. Kelly Tshibaka would be a far better choice for senate.
She’s had her day
Gave a great speech a few times no question of that
Personal life hot mess
I like her though

Never again.
Wherever there is a congressional district that does not have a strong supporter of the Bill of Rights and her favorability percentage is at least 20 more than negatives then she would make a good person to get involved in the volunteer surrogates corp to help in the midterms. It would be good to also have her help in fundraising quietly in those areas.
WIKI
On July 3, 2009, Palin announced that she would not run for reelection in the 2010 Alaska gubernatorial election and would resign before the end of the month. Palin stated that since August 2008, both she and the state had been spending an “insane” amount of time and money ($2.5 million) responding to “opposition research”, 150 FOIA requests and 15 “frivolous” legal ethics complaints filed by “political operatives” against her.[177][178][179] She said her resignation was also influenced by her desire not to be a lame duck.[179]
Lieutenant Governor Sean Parnell said that Palin’s decision to resign was driven by the high cost of legal fees against ethics investigations; Palin and her husband Todd personally incurred more than $500,000 in legal expenses.[177]
Todd filed for divorce from Sarah on August 29, 2019, citing “incompatibility of temperament”. He requested an equal division of debts and assets, and to have joint custody of their son, Trig. The divorce was finalized on March 23, 2020.

As a VP nominee with McCain, I just don’t see Trump choosing her for a Wash D.C. job. But maybe the RNC can enlist her for help in other ways.
Who is Sarah Palin?
She was an almost somebody nearly 20 years ago.
This is just a fake news hit piece.
Palin has 2 rather nice assets. And, I am told, some tan lines.
You forgot the word “buffer”. :-)
Did she lift a finger to help Trump?
Sarah has been a DJT for President supporter, since day one.
She is the ORIGINATOR of Drill, baby, drill...which Pres Trump likes to say, at rallies, speeches, etc., often.
She met him for pizza, in NYC, when other politicians weren’t giving him much time, at all.
I think her private life, made public instances have caused Pres Trump to step away.
She would be a great pick for Doug Burgum’s new Energy committee.
Perhaps this would then position her to run for MurKOWski’s Ranked Choice Senate seat and get that witch out of the Senate.
Someone beat her husband nearly to death.

I guess if she wants to work in government she needs to be more popular in Alaska.
Maybe it’s because she was such a quitter when she was governor.

She couldn’t survive Lawfare Version 1.0 without the resources of a Donald Trump.
Thank you.
Amazing seeing folks, here, NOT realizing this AND lambasting Sarah, for what the DS put her through.
BTTT!
Good question - where was she the last 4 years?
Sad to say, I’m disappointed in her.
She’s been out of active politics for over a decade. The younger Trump team may not even remember the 2008 election. It could be that no one even thought she would be interested in working.
I agree.
Some folks need to gracefully fade away.
Hey I love Sarah but honestly what did she do to help trump win I want a spot in trumps cabinet too don’t see me complaining
Indeed. Buffer* thank you. I do pray Palin will receive vindication somehow. I know Alaska is her home but she has Idaho roots too. And she briefly lived in AZ. Maybe a house seat in Idaho or the Dakotas. If that is her wish, who knows. I believe she is still healing from a long “Book of Job” season of sorts. She does seem rattled and fragile even in friendly media interviews. May she be restored in Jesus’ name.
