Somehow disruption doesn’t begin to cover it. Upheaval might be closer. Revolution maybe. In less than two weeks since being elected again, Donald J. Trump has embarked on a new campaign to shatter the institutions of Washington as no incoming president has in his lifetime.
He has rolled a giant grenade into the middle of the nation’s capital and watched with mischievous glee to see who runs away and who throws themselves on it. Suffice it to say, so far there have been more of the former than the latter. Mr. Trump has said that “real power” is the ability to engender fear, and he seems to have achieved that.
Mr. Trump’s early transition moves amount to a generational stress test for the system. If Republicans bow to his demand to recess the Senate so that he can install appointees without confirmation, it would rewrite the balance of power established by the founders more than two centuries ago. And if he gets his way on selections for some of the most important posts in government, he would put in place loyalists intent on
blowing up the very departments they would lead.
He has chosen a bomb-throwing
backbench congressman who has spent his career attacking fellow Republicans and fending off sex-and-drugs allegations to run the same Justice Department that investigated him, though it did not charge him, on suspicion of trafficking underage girls. He has chosen a
conspiracy theorist with no medical training who disparages the foundations of conventional health care to run the Department of Health and Human Services.

It should. Washington, D.C. voted 92% for Kamalamadingdong.
Even Fidel Castro is rolling over in his grave and laughing his ass off.

shatter the institutions of Washington as no incoming president has in his lifetime. This is the government the Founders warned us about.
We need to eliminate tens of thousands of these corrupt overpaid government bureaucrat parasites.

They say that like it's a bad thing. Some libtard on CNN was crying about the UFC fight last night, "Trump entered that arena to cheering crowds looking just like a triumphant Julius Caesar entering a Roman coliseum and with Musk and his cabinet appointees at his side, he was sending a message to the Senate telling them not to dare oppose him!"
And all I could think was, "Yeah, it was pretty cool."

As suggested on another thread, “Trump needs to name an ELECTION Integrity Czar .”
Yes, one that can guide investigations into allegations of cheating, find methods used and propose solutions that can be made into law. In addition to the cheating during elections analyze the disproportionate voting power Democrats have in the House due to their seats enabled by the large number of illegal (and even legal) residents that were counted in the last census. Consider AOC as a prime example of an elected representative - 123,269 votes of 178,849 total in her district. Hakeem Jeffries is another prime example, 155,866 votes in district with 208,082 total votes. NY district 1 was won by a Republican getting 217,461 votes in a district where 390,161 voted. This is ridiculous. If the districts were allocated by the number of citizens instead of inhabitants the House would likely have a 30 to 50 seat Republican majority and the Electoral College landslide would have been another 10 to 50 votes in Trumps favor.
The system needs a major overhaul, fix the census process to count only citizens for apportionment purposes. Federal requirements on federal elections, including voter ID and timelines, such as mail-in ballots must be received by Election Day to be counted so that when the polls close the total number of votes to be counted is known precisely.
If Trump and the Republicans use the power they now have and fix at least the apportionment system within the next two years, that will solidify the voting rights of citizens in the manner the Founders intended.

If Republicans bow to his demand to recess the Senate ... If he House goes in recess isn't the Senate also recessed by default?

...on suspicion of trafficking underage girls. And there is the buried absolute smear and lie. Gaetz should sue the Times to their last dollar. These people are absolutely despicable. Clearly this is in the Times so they can get the rest of the corrupt MSM in on the smear.
Just like the Russia collusion lie, which everyone knew was a lie, but the WaPo and the Times keep the smear going long after it was debunked.

The Flavian Amphitheater (Colosseum) did not exist at the time of Julius Caesar.

Are the Lefties worried that Trump may meet with his cabinet more than once a year? If he follows Biden’s lead what are they worried about?

“To all my friends in Congress, understand that how business is done in this town has to change..." Well, Obama just meant that the big donors had better start redirecting their contributions into Democrat coffers - or else.

The media will work over time to protect the DOJ and FIB because they are the strongest tools the democrats have.
TDR has taken them to the edge of the cliff they know they are losing power with the public pimping marxism is a no win deal.
