Fierce fighting has raged in the region over the past week, claiming the lives of hundreds of Russian soldiers.
Ukrainian forces wiped put a Russian assault group trying to cross a river in Kursk in a brutal attack.
-snip-
Putin's army sustained heavy losses after attempting to storm the river Psel on Monday.
The attack ended in unmitigated disaster for the Russians, as the unit was wiped out during a ferocious artillery barrage.
Images shot by a Ukrainian drone show Russian soldiers crossing the river in rubber dinghies.
As they reach the shore, they have no time to dig in before drones and artillery open fire on them.
Gruesome images show the banks of the river littered with the dead bodies of the Russians following the aerial bombardment.

THEY’RE ALL GONE THE WAR’S OVER UKRAINE WON!!
:)
Bro, people are going to start losing respect a little more each day you put up silly nonsense...but I am not vain.
I know you don’t you care whether I or anyone else here respects you or not :)
But your propogandad is up their with Germany’s the last years of the war. :)
Putin’s directive to his crappy military to recapture Kursk by January 20th is not going according to plan.
What Kursk counteroffensive doink?
Notice how all the stories saying “Its doom and gloom for the Russkies! They’re about to collapse any minute now!!!” come from the British tabloids? I wouldn’t believe a word of it. None of their other predictions about this conflict have come true.
I’m no fan of either but wouldn’t having 10,000 Norks join the russkies signal some kinda of desperation on their part?
I have no doubt the Ukraines are having the same problem but still....
I have wondered where UMCrevmom went to, I think now we now
Very Funny!!! It is not propaganda if there is pictures and videos of the failed attack by the Russians.
But go ahead try to make lies out of reality.... No one really believes you. Thanks for the humor...
Kursk in 3 days!
Why does it necessarily signal desperation? If you were Putin and you could obtain some useful cannon fodder (probably for a relatively low price) why wouldn't you do it? Russia is a much bigger country and has a huge advantage in Artillery. They've been inflicting far more casualties on the Ukes who have a lot fewer men to spare. I don't think its Russia which is getting desperate.
And this article refers to a German tabloid as well, but let's examine one of the graphics used to "flavor" the text.
Note the "fine" detail, and all the "actual information" that can be gathered from this blur. Not much at all, when all is examined more closely. This is intended, given so much other video posted by a variety of sources.
” If you were Putin and you could obtain some useful cannon fodder (probably for a relatively low price) why wouldn’t you do it?”
Using Wagner mercenaries, convicts, and now North Koreans, I’d say they’re very conscious of the war talk in NATO capitals and all-over western media and saving the Russians in case NATO attacks. Can you say Great Patriotic War II?
“Very Funny!!! It is not propaganda if there is pictures and videos of the failed attack by the Russians.”
Yes, it’s wonderful news. Ukraine is doing so well by these reports, they don’t need our help anymore. President Trump will see this too and end the gravy train.
WWI level losses for WWI level gains measured in meters or a couple kilometers.
Every time Russia captures some village with a few cows it's another Stalingrad victory for you guys.
Bono threatens....This should be entertaining....
You see this as Kim living up to the bargain and new treaty he signed with Putin. When any nation invades one of the signers—the other must help them with troops and military forces. Ukraine invades Russian territory so North Korea is sending troops in the hope that if South Korea or USA invades North Korea, Russia would send in troops. The treaty only apply s to People who invade Russia—Not anyplace Russia invades—so Once Kursk is won—the North Koreans will go home.
