Just in time!
Family wants Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio for Thanksgiving dinner. I’m going to use that list next time I go to BevMo.

None of these brands are available at the Circle K, where I shop for my wine.

I buy a nice Australian Chardonnay. “Yellow Tail” with a picture of a kangaroo on the label. Very inexpensive and I like it better than any of the $$$$$ brands.
(Oh what a plebeian I am.)
My daughter went to Australia a year ago and said it was a decent wine. It is.
I buy it at Safeway and Walmart has it too—at a higher price.

For me, $20-30 is an expensive bottle of wine.

Go with a nice Gewürztraminer. (German is best.)
You can do a decent one for $15 or so.

$20-$32 for a white wine ain’t “cheap” ...

If you're sitting down to a fiery Thai meal, for instance, a crisp riesling will ease the burn quite nicely. Not really.
But Cha Yen will do the job.
