Agreed. Donalds is a good solid choice without the whiff of nepotism. Only drawback is that it leaves another house seat temporarily vacant when we already have a paper-thin majority.

He is the best possible choice since Gaetz is out of the picture (so it appears) and it’s not even close. Stay at the RNC, Lara, and continue to do a good job there.

But if Lara is “snubbed”, are certain people going to get that juvenile “Ron DeSanctimonius” idiocy going again? I hope not.

Either Byron or Lara would be an outstanding choice for Governor DeSantis to make. Both are TRUE MAGA WARRIORS. The only downside with Byron is how much he’s needed in the razor thin Republican majority in the House. He also has been one of the few to keep the Republican caucus from drifting off to the left.
