When the winds pick up, there are flight failures. We used find hundreds of them at Kennedy Space Center around the vehicle assembly bldg when winds picked up.

A few years ago we were at a neighbor’s house and their cats were sitting outside by the glass patio doors. I said they look content, the neighbor said they were waiting to be fed.
A few minutes later a bird slammed into the glass, fell to the ground and quickly into the mouth of a cat.
