Unfortunately, it seems true. America has spent itself in a position where it is forced to contract and narrow its military goals because they money is simply not there to reverse by much of what has happened.

In my view, it was a sabotage operation. Take advantage of America's good will and keep stretching it until it had nothing left to give.

Army command cares more about fursuits, puppy masks, beast peen strap ons, and making trans feel good about sucking at life than the basic tenet of war which is “offend the enemy so badly that they take their dolls and run home, then follow them home to take their stuff. The End.”
But hey, the trans feel good about themselves, lgbtqeerty feel empowered, and everyone else is affirmed except whites as they’re apparently the devil now.
If the military focused on being soldiers first THEN anything else faaaaar later it’d be better.
It started with “We must be politically correct “ in the 90’s.
And snowballed from there.

That is about to change.

We have been a victim of Sun Tzu’s Art of War.

The issue isn’t a lack of money. It is too much money spent on incredibly overpriced, overengineered crap. Then, of course, also spreading its footprint worldwide in places we don’t belong.

Elon can help us put Rods From God up into space. That’s a deterrent against anyone who wants to attempt a first strike.

We have an enormous militia. We cannot be invaded. Our homeland is secure.

Traditionally, our navy has kept the sea lanes open. But we do that mostly for our allies. They benefit from stable global trade, but we depend upon that far less. We can be largely sufficient economically without so much dependence on sea lanes.

I’ve always been a fan of the military. But I almost think we could disband most of what we have. Start over if we need to. But the idea that we ought to live in fear of the world is a little silly. No one is going to touch us, with or without our military.

Forget about the military. The first thing Americans need is a nation worth defending.

The Army Secretary in the past four years was easily the worst in US history. I'm actually not sure how Trump will rebuild the army. Most of the competent colonels and lieutenant colonels have moved on and gone away. Who will Trump replace the DIE general officers with?

At least Stalin, Mao, and Castro understood they needed army support to ensure success of their revolutions. The current crop of leftists thought they could destroy the army and still have their revolution.

I’m hoping President Trump will find a role for Tulsi Gabbard in his administration. Fixing this sounds like something she would be perfect for.

The article was wrong on Vietnam and Afghanistan those wars were easily won if politicians stayed out of the ROEs. Politicians lost those wars, the military didn’t.

We’re not fighting in Palestine or Ukraine so the guys a moron.

The state of the military now is a disaster and politicians are the cause of that as well along with woke military managers. We have few leaders.

The cost of equipment is another political/congressional cause as well. The acquisition process is broken but could easily be repaired but that process is the reason it take decades to get a piece of equipment to the troops.

As for the military it has one purpose and that is to kill the enemy and that is all it should ever train to do. The military is not a peace keeping force. Peace keeping is the result of the enemy knowing you will annihilate them if they’re stupid enough to try anything. Same things for shipping lanes staying open....try anything and your dead. Peace through superior fire power.

Weakness in any form needs to be eliminated in the ranks as well.

As MayflowerMadam said in another thread (I paraphrase), "Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you can start to turn around."

The military has hit rock bottom.

From the article:
"That's cancer bro, not muscle. The US military budget is a measure of corruption, not competence."

And our beloved debtor nation is now almost $36 trillion in debt, because of the neocons, neolibs and other traitors who made themselves rich at the expense of this USA.

After the invasion of our southern border for the last 4 years, the army has proven itself a worthless institution.

Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Palestine, these are all losses or draws.
...Unfortunately, it seems true. America has spent itself in a position where it is forced to contract and narrow its military goals because they money is simply not there to reverse by much of what has happened.

The US military is a reflection of its prosperous, largely post-Christian culture, failing the test of affluence, after enduring affliction and adversity.

Yet, all the wars and actions mentioned were winnable, and lack of money is not the issue. if the US militarily conducted these wars as their adversaries did and would if they had its military might, then all its foes would forced into into submission, beginning with nuking the Soviets which it has indirectly fought in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Ukraine. Which were lost or stalemated due to lack of political will to win. Yet, contrary to the accusations of the Left, it is the US which overall operated under much higher moral principles than its adversaries, if it can be said that Japan and communists even had much of any.

But while helping wicked Stalin to defeat a common foe was necessary at the time, yet aside from humanitarian aid*, perhaps the allies should not have helped it so much that it became an advancing army that conquered Berlin first as the US took a different route. Of course, there are many "what if" scenarios in that war.

If only Stalin had The Bomb and means to deliver it in 1944, and the US did not until 1949, then it could have forced all the world into submission if the US was not their to stop it.

But As for Palestine. Israel is showing the US how to better deal with a recalcitrant implacable adversary, with and also despite US involvement .

In all, the United States shipped $50 billion ($608 billion in 2020 money) worth of materiel under the program, including $11.3 billion to the Soviet Union. In addition, much of the $31 billion worth of aid sent to the United Kingdom was also passed on to the Soviet Union via convoys through the Barents Sea to Murmansk. Most visibly, the United States provided the Soviet Union with more than 400,000 jeeps and trucks, 14,000 aircraft, 8,000 tractors and construction vehicles, and 13,000 battle tanks.

The article seemingly blames the US Army for losses in Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan.

THAT IS A BOATLOAD OF PURE MANURE!!!!!!!!!!

Those were all political losses. All of them.

And the degradation of the US military today is not the common soldiers fault. It’s the damn politicians. Afghanistan was nothing but a military/industrial complex war that kept politicians rich for 20 years which was immediately followed by Ukraine.

President Xi, you write English very well.

America’s military is the most lethal. Ask the “winners”.

It has big problems to fix, never underestimate the American man’s guy pleasure at destroying things that tick him off.

This guy’s a Morron! Wrong on most levels. If given the political authority to execute, our military is unstoppable. With clear objectives and an exit strategy, and left to our own planning, we cannot lose. We only lose when politicians interfear and change the rules/guidance mid stream.

Give us guidance, get out of the way.

A country that let globalist free traitors off shore our industrial base ( Thanks Rush Limbaugh for cheerleading that effort on a daily basis) is never going to be a world power or really be able to sustain a war of attrition.

Thanks Free Traitors.....

There is no point in making war unless you intend to conduct yourselves WWII style - nothing left out of what you are willing to do, and nothing but total surrender of the opposition in your goals; no half measures, no quarter measures, just total war and total war taken to wherever your opposition is and whereever your opposition is getting support.

When we have failed we failed not because we were incapable of winning, and only because we restrained ourselves from winning.
