Two helmet-wearing goons shot a cellphone store worker multiple times and took his $22,000 Rolex during a stickup in Queens, cops said Saturday.

The robbers got tangled in a physical altercation with the victim just before 7 p.m. Friday at the Top in Town Wireless store on 32-78 Steinway St. in Astoria, according to the NYPD.

The victim, a 40-year-old man who works at the mobile phone store, was shot in both legs and his torso, according to the NYPD. He was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.

They stole the victim’s jaw-droppingly expensive watch before they fled the scene on a scooter, officials said.

I just replaced the old wrist band on my 3 year old Timex with a $10 Amazon wrist band.

Over the years I have accumulated some nice watches, and I don’t wear them out, in today’s world.

I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than $20 for a watch. Right now I’m wearing a Casio Forester that’s maybe 6 or 7 years old, but replacing it may cost more than $20 when the time comes. Haven’t priced watches recently, though I’m sure they cost more now, like everything else.

I can wear a 22k watch in Seoul or Tokyo for a whole year and never worry about getting mugged or shot.
