Absolutely!
Will it happen? Not holding my breath.
That, she is.
What took them so long?
There is never just one cockroach.
“”” While we believe this is an isolated incident, we have taken measures to remove the employee from their role”””
Why not HIS or HER role?
I agree. If this one female employee felt comfortable enough to verbally and by written instructions tell the people under her to avoid homes with Trump signs, that tells me there is a culture in the FEMA agencies that supports what she did. Anytime this type of situation happens in our government or corporations, it is on purpose. If it wasn’t and the employee knew they would be fired on the spot, they would feel free to do it. And I always have to ask, if this was a white lady telling those under her to bypass those with Kamala signs, what would have happened?
This is a lukewarm response to a VERY dangerous and ill-considered policy* coming out of a US government organization that each and EVERY single American taxpayer supports!!!!
Liberals are forever overlooking the fact that the country belongs to ALL of us.
*And I, personally, believe it WAS 'policy' and not just a one-off as their apology suggests. That employee KNEW he/she was working in a totally biased and compromised organization and proceeded to act as he/she believed would be acceptable to 'management'. They are just running scared!
As well you should.
And--to take this matter extremely seriously requires that, if this matter is indeed true, anyone responsible be fired.
I would take the same position if FEMA had ordered that homes with pro-Harris signs--or anything else--be passed by.
If I were a lawyer I’d be putting together a case gathering all the names of the owners who’s homes were illegally passed over.
Then file a huge class-action civil rights law suit against both FEMA and this wackadoodle broad.
This is a no-brainer.
ABSOLUTELY!!
They’re so horrified they still haven’t fired her azz. 🙄
Let Elon Do It!
I think this investigation needs to include what happened in North Carolina and Tennessee.
Sending electric chainsaws to areas without power?
Telling people who coordinated immediate food relief to shutdown?
Oh there was a whole hose of shenanigans that went on between the people and FEMA.
Recall they even said they were out of money?
Also see my tagline.
We don’t need FEMA, it’s dangerous.
Things like these need to be run at a state or local level.
You are right, it’s not just one employee. It’s culture of the entire agency.
You can tell this if you go on Twitter and see all of the people saying, “of course they stayed away from Trump fans for their own safety.”
As if people on the right are just inherently dangerous
As others have noted, her name is out.
And I don’t doubt that MSNBC is pursuing her for a prime time slot
