Does everybody remember the Donald Trump vs. Rosie O'Donnell feud from many years ago? The former comedian and talk show host is still not liking Trump, and throw in the fact that he's going to be in the White House for four more years and we've got another video for the Museum of Triggered Lefties.

Somebody tell da ho that Trump won the popular vote. Does the dumbass want to get rid of that too? She sounds like a communist now.
> The electoral college forces candidates to pay attention to issues that are important around the country. <
Yes. I once had a conversation about that with a liberal friend of mine. He’s a union member.
I pointed out that on a union job site, the contract must be acceptable to all the unions. You can’t just make the carpenters happy (who might be in the majority) and ignore the wishes of the plumbers and electricians.
As an analogy, that might have been a stretch. But my friend grudgingly admitted that I had made a good point.
When they tried to give this to us in 2017 I said if the popular vote was the decider, he would have run a popular vote campaigns f he would have won
Of course that’s what he did here
Numbers confuse her like so many other facts she’s just a Hollywood hobo.
If you had forced me to bet on who would win the imaginary popular vote I would have bet on Biden. The media and the pollsters are why Dems are so shocked. The media lied, will Dems notice?
Re: The Electoral College
There would be no UNITED States without two Senators per state, plus the Electoral College, plus the Bill of Rights.
Approximately half of the 13 Original Colonies would not sign off on the Constitution without explicit political guarantees to the lowest population Colonies.
It is that simple...
No Electoral College?
No UNITED States!
I’m 56, no spring chicken and I haven’t watched MSM news in like 10 or more years.
Younger people are far less prone to get their news from ANCIENT alphabet network shows on a TV.
Alternative media soon wont be alternative media...it will be the main media.
And the richest man in the world, I think, will make that so faster and faster.
Trump won the popular vote.
Yes, Trump did, but that doesn’t make it a good idea. The Founding Fathers system of checks and balances in the Constitution is a network of protection of the individual. The Popular Vote would be the opposite, protect the majority at the expense of the current minority rights. State elections would have no meaning, there would be one central election. Cheating would get even easier. It also moves away from voter and minority rights and toward socialist style central govt, which just needs 50.01% to rule, with no rights for up to 49.99%.
I disagree.
WaPo is at least 50% dependent on regional subscriptions and advertising.
Washington D.C. is 95% Democrat.
Northeast Virginia and the rest of Metro D.C. is at least 75% Democrat.
Every change that Bezos makes - if any - will be completely cosmetic.
Incidentally, when is she leaving America? She can leave her home to Kamala’s illegals!
What do you think will replace streaming media?
We agree.
The title of this thread is about the Electoral College, which is what I wrote about.
By the way, there are still a lot of California and urban counties that have not reported yet.
I think Trump still wins the Popular Vote, but the certified total will be less than 5 million.
Dunno. That’s always a surprise. I first read about the compact disk in the “What’s New” section of Popular Science, probably 1975? I didn’t see one until circa early 1984, when I joined a CD-oriented record club because there weren’t any CDs around that A) interested me or B) thrilled me with their pricing.
They remained hard to find in retail for a long while, but I’d find them in high-end stereo shops (my first two were *used* copies in one of those stores), and after I finally got a player, heh, I’d make an occasional trip to East Lansing, a place called “CD Emporium”.
The proprietor was a busy guy, everything was on anti-theft if memory serves, it was a big place, second floor?, the 531 building (?) on East Grand River. He stocked by his own acc’t, better part of a million dollars of inventory.
It wasn’t around long. CD retailing suddenly popped up everywhere. The CD long box width was two-to-one vs the vinyl LPs, making adaption of display simple. That’s what the regional big chain (Meijer) did, and when it hit, it was suddenly nearly the entire LP space, minus a couple of rows. Didn’t take long for CD remainder bins to appear, I remember finding Best of Humble Pie in one, no cutout. It’s, uh, around here somewhere.
So, to make a short story long...
The Democrats would love us to be a Democracy instead of a Constitutional Republic that way the present 20 Blue States would automatically win every national election and the 30 Red States would not even have to bother voting.
I am all in for the electoral college, but it is hard to listen to someone trying to save the deep state bureaucracy when they also lost the popular vote.
The country should not be dictated to by the denizens of Manhattan and the weirdos on the left coast.
I like your analogy with the carpenters.
I’ve always likened using just a popular vote would be like the Hunger Games. With the two coasts deciding what the rest of the country should do for them.
,,, she’s a life support system for her own a$$h_*e. Has she got any better at singing the national anthem?
