While we are all still in a good mood from the Trump victory, I hope everybody realizes how important FR has been not only by letting us follow the news and get real-time info and discussion on important events, but also by blazing a new trail in conservative media.
It looks like the payment processing changes are having a serious negative effect on the Freepathon this quarter.
If you are a monthly donor, there is a good chance your October autopay didn't process (mine didn't). I am challenging all of the monthly donors to double your payment in November to the best of your ability to help catch up. I don't do paypal. It was easy to donate with Authorize.net.
I am also challenging anybody who is here regularly to become a monthly donor when the system allows. Where else can you get access to a forum as great as this one without a paid subscription? Decide what you can afford, schedule it on autopay, and it's painless to support FR every month.

Oh, AuntB, I didn’t mean to make you feel bad or obligated. I’m sure JR would agree when I say please don’t send what you can’t afford.
I was aiming at the monthly donors who might not have realized their autopayments didn’t get sent for October, and may not go through for November or December, either. Also, there are many people who get a lot of use out of this site who could probably afford a small monthly donation but just don’t think about doing it.
This isn’t an official freepathon thread, I just wanted to get the word out. What you can do to help that won’t cause you hardship, is maybe comment every now and then to bump this thread and any Freepathon threads that come along so more people will see them.

Mine processes on the 19th of the month. Fine for September but NO OCTOBER POSTING.
Addendum to my post 16 above. I think I (and other monthly donors) just need to know whether automatic monthly donations will begin again in November without us having to take action to reinitiate them.
Also, we need to know whether missed October automatic donations will be done without action needed on our part. If not, then I will make an additional payment in November to make up for the missed October automatic payment.

We’ll have to wait until we get it all together again before we decide. But we may have to start all over again with the credit card monthlies. Sorry again.
