Best Possible Trump Legacy

Posted on 11/06/2024 12:22:04 PM PST by The-Paperboy

The best possible Trump legacy would be a bulletproof balanced budget amendment. Talk about killing inflation, that’s the way. How do we let Trump, Vance and Musk know?

Not sure this is always good. There are times (wartime) when borrowing money is necessary.

First- gut the glut in fed spending then balanced budget with proportional tax assigned by state angling for bailouts

If he delivers on his promises, I’m good.

Another amendment is a sad acknowledgement of failure. It’s like the NFL salary cap. It protects the owners from themselves.

No one likes taxes. An income tax does not bring people together.
A health care plan, market based, that covers everybody.
A new retirement plan where everyone participates.

Will other nations keep sea lanes in Asia open? If not Asian nations should pay us.

Balanced Budget Amendment!

I thought the same thing this morning.
I would probably wait until after the first year, but I would try to get it done before the mid-terms and the possibility of losing the house and/or the senate.

However, it could still be a difficult battle. An amendment requires 2/3 majority and state ratification

Get rid of the Patriot Act and celebrate that on Independence Day 2025 — 250th anniversary of the USA

I know it’s way down on the list but I hope all public money is withheld from our major universities as long as they continue to spew their Marxist rhetoric. They can, of course, continue to do so, just not on the tax payers’ $.

Trump’s greatest legacy will be to end and win the war this nation declared against him in 2015/16..

That can’t happen again.
Ever.
Enemies domestic in places like the FBI (as an example) deserves carpet bombing, symbolically speaking,on inauguration day

It better not take 4 years to end that war..

Agreed. With our coming control of all three branches, major national voting reform should be a top-tier priority. If we keep letting that slip, it will ruin us again. We worked too hard to get here to piss it away again.

Include national limitation of the voting window. Three days max. Elimination of voting machines. Receipts for all voters. Citizens only voting. I’m sure there is more. Do it all.

“A health care plan, market based, that covers everybody.”

Can’t be done, if it is market based then the cost to someone who already has major medical problems will be too expensive for a person with major problems to afford.
