Things are a-changin’ in Vegas! And dramatically at that!
The Las Vegas Raiders announced late Sunday night they have fired their offensive coordinator Luke Getsy after the team got off to a terrible 2-7 start. It was Getsy’s first campaign with the team.
Oh, but that’s not all. Las Vegas decided to can their quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello and offensive line coach James Cregg as well. Scangarello and Cregg were also in their first year with the Raiders.
After suffering a dismal 41-24 defeat against the Cincinnati Bengals, the black and silver have now lost five straight games, something the franchise hasn’t done since 2018. On top of that, they dropped to 2-7, which is one of the worst records in the NFL.
It’s easy to laugh at the Raiders right now, but I see a bright future ahead for them if they play their cards right.
Everybody knows how I’m a Miami Dolphins fan in the NFL, and in college I’m all for the Miami Hurricanes, so obviously I’m a huge fan of UM quarterback Cam Ward. Now my Dolphins will probably be too good for the No. 1 pick when the smoke clears, and even if they were bad enough, they’d most likely stick with Tua Tagovailoa.
So that brings me to Vegas … These guys should tank the rest of the season to guarantee the top pick in the 2025 draft. And then after that, bring in the Heisman Trophy favorite. Though I’m loyal to the Trey-0-5, Sin City would be second on my list in terms of favorite metros, and seeing Cam Ward in that town with a black and silver jersey on would be something else.
Tom Brady ownership, Cam Ward at quarterback, the Raiders could have a damn dynasty if they do things correctly — look at the opportunity you have in front of you, Vegas.
My exact thought Sunday afternoon. Fire every damn coach for preparing good players so poorly. It was embarrassing. Say what you will about Cooper Rush, though, he’s steady and dependable.
Would have loved to have seen Rush pull out that game.
How many coaches have they been thru?
It’s not the talent on the sidelines, it’s the talent on the field.................
Personally, I believe he’s a better QB that Dak................
Give us Crosby

(hey, never know if you don't ask)
Once again being too quick on the hook, and not noticing that the roster ain’t that great. How many wins do you really expect with Gardner Minshew and Desmond Ridder under center? It takes time to build a team, if you blow it up every year you never do.
It takes a lot more than just a good quarterback ya’ know?
Lions defense still looks good even without Hutch. But yes, we still can use all the help we can get.
I’ve been screaming for years that they need a head coach that’s actually BEEN a head nfl coach......well, they finally got one (who has a super bowl ring BTW) and it STILL hasn’t helped.
Nobody is saying it but I will....Trevor Lawrence is overrated.
Just fire the totally incompetent Antonio Pierce, and bring back Jon gruden. They will start winning again
A man with that much money doing that.....that’s creepy dude.
That’s a pretty low bar there.
Ever since they fired Gruden, I hope they lose every game.
“the totally incompetent Antonio Pierce...”
Diversity is more important than wins in the nfl.....don’t you know that? Lol!
While Cowboy owner JJ is certainly good at making money, he is delusional to think that playing football in college for a couple of years makes one qualified to manage an NFL team. As has been said above, the Cowboys will suck as long as the Jones clan is in ownership.
JJ should have fired the head coach and given Dan Quinn the money that went to Dak’s contract and elevated him to head coach. I suspect that Dak will retire soon. He is a better than average NFL QB but not top tier.
The owners of the really, consistently successful NFL teams are nearly invisible. They hire the best coaches available and then stand aside.
“since they fired Gruden, I hope they lose every game”
How many times you think the N word is uttered on the field by black players in the nfl on any given Sunday?
I thought he used the F word.
I heard Grudens email got hacked and there were emails where he used the N word and thst led to his firing.....is that not correct?
Also sent around NSFW pictures of cheerleaders. Lots of sleeze.
I heard the same story, but I thought it was the F word.
