But, in a complete 180 degrees turn, they sure know now as using it to attack GOP.

When they need to know for real, they know.
Their lexicon is fluid, depending upon its political expediency.

It’s everybody’s formula. You think for a microsecond our side doesn’t want power?
The question is, who’s better at getting power. Over the last few decades they’ve been running circles around us in that department.
If “our side”, for the sake of power, started trampling on the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, the Third Amendment, and every other one of the Bill of Rights down the list, and declaring the Constitution to be an outdated, irrelevant piece of paper, “our side” would no longer be my side. So far, thankfully, that doesn’t seem to be the case, and there does seem to be a difference.
Remember the flip flop sandals 2004?

They want power to do what THEY want to do, just like we want power to do what WE want to do.
Power is the ultimate goal for all, because once you have power you can do what you want, no?

Of course there is a difference, but the difference is what each side wants to accomplish, but the desire for power is the same, because once you get power you can do whatever you want to do.
In your case you want power to defend and promote the constitution, in their case they want power to significantly alter it.
It’s that simple.

So, you want power to implement your unhidden agenda and they want power to implement their hidden agenda. Both want power.
