Bernard Hermann's score from Vertigo is probably the best on this list. It's not only one of the top horror movie soundtracks, but it's one the best orchestral works of the 20th century.
 Jaws and Psycho have more memorable music (and are higher on this list), but let's face it, their scores are about eight notes each.

“10: Under the Skin (Jonathan Glazer, 2013)”
One of the best novels I’ve ever read. And I’ve read it a number of times. SO many layers to this cautionary tale.
Haven’t had the GUTS to watch the movie and while I like Scarlet, I probably never will.
All of Michael Faber’s books are fantastic and thought-provoking.
