Yeah, it was not a classic in that sense. But the mark of a great team is that it takes advantage when the other team makes mistakes, and the Dodgers certainly did that. After the first inning, I told myself it wasn't over. And it wasn't. Cole pitched very well; his defense let him down.
That 5th inning Yankee breakdown/give away will be remembered for a long time by Yankee fans.

As a long suffering Yankees fan I blame Boone. There are real problems in the clubhouse. They get great talent and when they first get to the team they play great. Then after a few months they go into a deep slump and never recover. Then when the Yanks trade them they play great again. Judge is great but is extremely streaky. Red hot then ice cold for long periods. Stanton ONLY hits well during the playoffs. Judge can’t hit in the playoffs. It’s ridiculous.
I was dosing off in my chair when I shut the Tv off and went to bed in the 8th inning. Who knew the Dodgers would hang on to a 1 point lead.
There are no points in baseball.
