Tattoos are no longer forever. Pete Davidson emerged from rehab last week looking like a clean slate. “The King of Staten Island” star, 30, wore a short-sleeve t-shirt to a Los Angeles Clippers game with rapper buddy Machine Gun Kelly and the tattoos that once covered the comedian’s forearms appeared significantly faded and in some cases non-existent.
Davidson first started having his tattoos removed years ago, and the process has gotten increasingly popular. A slew of stars — including Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba — have erased ink in recent years, and business is booming for tattoo removal companies.
Aside from ink for his exes, Davidson has amassed dozens of other dubious tattoos over the years, from portraits of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Hillary Clinton to a giant red mouth shark on his chest and the Verrazano Bridge below his collar bone.

Removing tattoos is a hell of lot more painful than getting them on.
He had a rose tattooed over the “na” in “Winona” and it now reads “wino forever”
🤣🤣🤣

Good recovery.
Yes. My daughter wanted tattoos as a teen. I told her to go look at some old folks with aged tattoos and see if she still liked them. I reminded her that they were permanent and tastes and fashion change. Finally, I said my house.... My rules. She could do what she wanted when she moved out and supported herself. She is 33 and no tattoos....No piercings, except for earrings. I am calling this a win, for us both.
Dang!
investing in tattoo removal would have been like investing in apple 30 years ago.
who is that nobody ?
Tattoos mean you’re easily swayed by someone’s else’s opinion.
I have no tattoos, and I don’t plan to ever get one.
But, a tattoo can hold special meaning, even if it wrinkles later as a person ages.
Example: Tattoos in memory of someone special. Or, in honor of someone’s military service. Or, a patriotic symbol.
Reading further, it involves lasers so probably not. But burns may happen if not done correctly.
HA! Ok, touche. Lol. Every one of mine has some kind of meaning to me. Many were done by myself or close friends and family. Some of them aren't the greatest looking, but they all have very deep meaning for me either because of what they are or who put them on me.
When I was a kid, sailors and outlaw bikers had tattoos.
Today, just about everyone under the age 30 has them.
Hopefully for the stupid kids, this fad and the peer pressure subsides. School reform might help with a focus on 3 r’s and mental health.
If you’re cash laden here in music city you can get them removed with same fast acting benzodiazepine they use for tooth pulls
i had pete davidson’s face tattooed on my face, but then i had it removed in tribute to him.
Few under 40 today have none
Like hip hop seems it started 35 years ago with bands like guns and roses or Lemmy Kilmiester having em
And went from there
I bet half here have one at least
His troubled past was pretty damn troubled
It gnaws a bit on me given his public image now given what he did
I ain’t prefer either but my own personal violence had a point to it
And I still regret and have lectured my sons about trying to warn them all their youth
Yes it no longer means hard
Not sure it ever did this side of Tommy Silverstein
Forgot all about Davidson, never liked him.
Markey Mark liked to rumble and as you know.... Attacked a Vietnamese man who lost an eye. But as far as I know he had a good music career by age 20 or so. He had given up his racial assaults, of blacks too.
All his criminal activities are in detail in Wikipedia
