Tattoos are no longer forever. Pete Davidson emerged from rehab last week looking like a clean slate. “The King of Staten Island” star, 30, wore a short-sleeve t-shirt to a Los Angeles Clippers game with rapper buddy Machine Gun Kelly and the tattoos that once covered the comedian’s forearms appeared significantly faded and in some cases non-existent.
Davidson first started having his tattoos removed years ago, and the process has gotten increasingly popular. A slew of stars — including Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba — have erased ink in recent years, and business is booming for tattoo removal companies.
Aside from ink for his exes, Davidson has amassed dozens of other dubious tattoos over the years, from portraits of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Hillary Clinton to a giant red mouth shark on his chest and the Verrazano Bridge below his collar bone.

“portraits of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Hillary Clinton”
He should be forced to live with that sort of sickness
Did he remove those tattoos? Maybe it’s a sign he’s coming around.
Thanks.
That was my next question. How much?
Probably a lot more than it cost to get them.
No idea who he is and certainly do not care about his fetishes.
Even Bill Clinton wouldn’t get a Hillary Clinton tattoo. That’s nuts.
I imagine so. I didn’t really ask. I just shook my head.
If you got tattoos because Pete Davidson or some other forgettable celebrity got them, then you're a lemming, too.
***They were illegible, wrinkled and the colors had blurred.***
I saw the same thing in the military in 1966. Young men just in the military becoming a “man” by getting a tattoo. They were really proud of them but had to keep them covered with Vaseline for a few week till the skin healed.
After a few weeks and the skin healed, the tattoos were no longer sharp but looked out of focus.
But they were still better than the self done jobs with India Ink and a needle. Those were horrid!
It’s good to know it’s possible to get rid of them. I truly did think they were forever.
How are they removed?

Very expensive, painful and long process.
Laser stream aimed on the tattoo will bread the paint and disperse it into the body.
Part get absorbed by the body, part stays.
So you need many painful sessions (the thing burns your skin), and usually you will still end up with some stains on the skin.
You can also use the old method, surgically removing the skin. That may leave scars.
Tattoo removal is a lot more painful and expensive that tattoo application. You should still think before getting tattoo!
Hopefully, whatever process they use to remove the ink doesn’t poison them or otherwise damage their lymph nodes.
Are you saying it might?
This tatto stuff is a bad fad.
aaron carter proved that...
Proved what?
tattoos aren’t forever...
Mark Wahlberg, formerly known as Marky Mark, has indeed undergone the process of tattoo removal. Here are the key details about his experience:
Tattoo Removal Process
Mark Wahlberg had eight or nine tattoos removed from various parts of his body, including his neck, stomach, arms, back, and leg14. The removal process was significantly more painful and time-consuming than getting the tattoos in the first place. Wahlberg described the sensation as “like hot bacon grease getting flicked on you over and over again”2
.
Reasons for Removal
Wahlberg cited several reasons for removing his tattoos:
Maturity and sensibility2
Professional considerations, as covering them up for acting roles was inconvenient1
Personal growth, as he no longer wanted to be associated with his troubled past1
Duration and Challenges
The tattoo removal process took Wahlberg about five years to complete2
. He initially hoped to have them removed before filming “The Fighter” in 2010, but the process took much longer than anticipated. While he was told it would take 5-7 visits over 5-7 years, Wahlberg accelerated the process by going once a month instead of once a year
Do you get the bacon when they are done?
I know a doctor who works in prisons and they are removing tattoos from convicts so they can get a job when they leave. Voluntarily, I assume.
