After 5 days of early voting in Maryland, an underwhelming 7% of registered voters in the City of Baltimore have cast an in-person early vote (this numbers excludes provisional and absentee ballots).

I hear you, Rebel, and I’ve resigned myself to filling in the bubble for Hogan. Much as I want to puke.
The problem in Maryland is that there are not many Republicans to make up the huge deficit that is there now.
Hogan’s only hope (imho slim to none) is that he runs the table with Independents.
The Democrats probably have an election day strategy that hasn’t been considered. Is it the case that Republicans are still playing by last years rules and the Democrats are more advanced? What are we missing?
The good news is that in every state I have looked at thus far there is a date (usually around now) where no more mail ballots can be requested.
It is the outstanding mail in ballots that are a major problem—they can be ballot stuffed at the last minute.
There is zero enthusiasm for traditional Democrats, such as black Americans, to turn out to vote for Harris. She has failed to articulate what she stands for beyond simply not being Trump, whom she has slandered to a point of looking absurd. No one is buying it. So there are many blacks who would rather just sit this one out.
.
Democrats do zilch to help black residents in MD and elsewhere but they keep voting for them. Hopefully far less this year.
Well at least Hogan will lose. The old GOP is dead, dead, dead.
What percentage of them can actually read?
I wish Hogan all success. He may be a big fat, stupid RINO POS, but he’s our big, fat, stupid RINO POS. Anything to gain and widen a GOP Senate majority
It’ll be 107% on election night.
I heard a rumor that MD isn’t going to start counting ballots until Nov. 15th.I can’t verify it but it was mentioned to me this morning. Wes Moore wants to be the Democrat candidate in 2028 so he will deliver the state down the line.
Hogan, on the other hand - I’m surprised he’s behind because nearly every non-Repub I know absolutely loves him

I’m a life-long Republican and I despise that RINO. And I just let him know that in response to an appeal for $$$. However I also told him he would be getting my vote because his opponent is PG County Executive Angela Alsobrooks. PG County is a Sanctuary County, so she refused to honor a Federal Detainer and instead released an illegal migrant thug from custody who then murdered two teenage girls. She’s a real POS!
Just because they may “love” him doesn’t mean they’ll vote for him.
Why vote for Rat-lite when you can vote for the real thing?
I believe a lot of Dems will stay home.

On the other hand, some poll of Christian voters recently revealed that millions of those voters are planning to abstain as well because they believe Trump has reneged on the RTL issue.
After the polls close, the poll workers will cast the remaining ballots.

They’re sure this is the last one they will have to steal, and they may be right!
The other 93% are convicted felons.
I’m sure once the dems find out who didn’t vote, their ballots will be cast for them after all, with or without their knowledge or permission.
