Sad really.....he probably had mood stabilizing drugs but wasn’t taking them. SMH
This killing is a failure of modern mental health practice, apparently. If he were given the standard treatment from the 1700s, he would still be alive. He’d be chained to a brick wall, but he would still be alive and no one would have been threatened.

It is really sad.
The beauty of the place matches its priciness. Over the top. If you haven’t been there, I suggest parking the car where-ever, and walk the streets, and the length of the beach. At the south end is Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece. If low tide, below the house is great for seeing crabs, starfish and urchins. Nearby Point Lobos park gets five stars—do a 3 mile hike or so, and visit the little whaling museum, and the Mission, too. Sorry for adding all this, to this subject, but I think it’s worth passing along. My kid and I visit about once a year.
