She was gorgeous in her younger days... I had no idea she was that old.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [Reading from his grandfathers’ notebook] “As the minuteness of the parts formed a great hinderance to my speed, I resolved therefore to make a being of a gigantic stature.”
[pause]
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Of course. That would simplify everything.
Inga: In other vords: his veins, his feet, his hands, his organs vould all have to be increased in size.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Exactly.
Inga: He vould have an enormous schwanzstucker.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: That goes without saying.
Inga: Voof.
Igor: He’s going to be very popular.
😂 😆 😝

It's such a corny movie but the timing is perfect. I must have seen it 50 times, but I still almost fall out of my chair laughing. This scene in particular:
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [to The Monster] Hello handsome. You're a good looking fellow, do you know that? People laugh at you, people hate you, but why do they hate you? Because... they are jealous. Look at that boyish face. Look at that sweet smile. Do you wanna talk about physical strength? Do you want to talk about sheer muscle? Do you want to talk about the Olympian ideal? You are a God. And listen to me, you are not evil. You... are... good.
I'm laughing so hard I can barely type.

Ughhh. The only thing I don’t like about being 61 (on Thursday), is that so many childhood figures are leaving us! 😥

After serving in the military one of the first jobs I had was working for a movie distributor where they would rent a theatre and show a film of theirs but they also handled the receipts and concessions and I would take over as manager for the run of the movie, [turned out the distributors were getting ripped off big time by theatre managers who would under-count and resell tickets to line their pockets]. My brother had just got back from Nam and was in a deep funk I had him and one of his buddies come to the theater I was running and watch the movie which happened to be “Young Frankenstein “. Both he and his buddy laughed so hard I thought they would have a stroke . The next day he told me he thought it was the funniest movie he had ever seen and it lifted him out of the blues he was in and he had a different approach about life after that. Thanks Teri and Gene , Mel , Peter and Marty Great movie.

I loved Teri Garr. She was in “Oh God!” with George Burns and John Denver, among other fan favorites.

Jennifer Aniston imitated Teri Garr to become famous. Teri Garr was wonderful comedic actress. Beautiful too. Michael Keaton gave good advice today. Go back and watch her movies to see how wonderful she was. I left the pic big on purpose.

She also played the long-suffering wife in “Let It Ride” — a little-known gem of a comedy with Richard Dreyfuss and the hottest Jennifer Tilley (now a professional poker player)ever.
One of Teri’s better lines was, “I’ve decided to become an alcoholic.”
I love this movie.
