Beyoncé, who has made headlines recently for her and her husband Jay-Z’s connection to Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs, spoke at a pro-abortion Kamala Harris rally in Houston, Texas, sharing that she is endorsing Harris because of abortion.
She took the stage with her former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland, who spoke first, calling it “a remarkable, joyous day.”
“A day, a date, a day, a time, a moment with weight and meaning for our country, for our people, and for the world,” said Rowland. “A moment, Houston, where we grab back the pen from those who are trying to write an American story of division and hatred. A moment when we grab back the pen from those who are trying to write an American story of misogyny and racism. We are grabbing back the pen from those who are trying to write an American story that would deny the right for women to make our own decisions about our bodies.”
Beyoncé then spoke, saying she wasn’t there as a celebrity or a politician — even though, of course, neither Rowland nor Beyoncé would have been there speaking if they weren’t celebrities.
“I’m here as a mother,” she said. “A mother who cares deeply about the world my children, and all of our children, live in. A world where we have the freedom to control our bodies.”
She added, “Imagine our daughters growing up seeing what’s possible with no ceilings, no limitations. Imagine our grandmothers, imagine what they feel right now, those who have lived to see this historic day.”
The “limitation” to kill another human being is one that every civil society should have. The freedom to control one’s own body does not extend the false right to kill another innocent human being. Children in the womb have a right to not be killed in the womb because their mother sees them as an inconvenience or an obstacle to a world with “no ceilings.”
Also present at the rally were Amanda Zurawski and Ondrea Cumming, who both claim that they were denied medically necessary abortions in Texas. Induced abortion — the direct and intentional killing of preborn children — is not medically necessary. What they were denied was actual healthcare and the standard treatments for preterm premature rupture of membranes, which is not induced abortion.
The Harris-Walz campaign said it chose to hold the rally in Texas despite having little chance of winning the state because it is “ground zero” for pro-life laws. Texas was the first state to enact a law protecting preborn children when their heartbeat can be detected at about six weeks.
“Texas, you are ground zero in the fight for reproductive freedom,” said Harris. “No one is protected if there is a Trump abortion ban, and it will outlaw abortion in every single state.” Yet, Trump has stated he opposes enacting federal abortion restrictions and believes states should decide their own abortion laws. Harris also called pro-life politicians “out of their minds.”

It’s such a warped world we are in now that the pro-abortion crowd truly talks and acts as if they have the moral high ground. It’s a noticeable shift from say 40 years ago when the rhetoric was along the lines of “No one likes abortion, but a woman has the right to her own body, blah blah blah.”

Reproductive Freedom is missing the key word From. There are other ways than killing a concieved child if you want to be free from reproduction.
