Iran has been left powerless to export ballistic missiles to Russia for up to two years following Israeli airstrikes on weapons factories across the country.
Over 100 aircraft, including F-35 Lightnings, F-16 Falcons, F-15 Eagles, air-to-air refuellers and drones, took part in the Israeli attacks in the early hours of Saturday morning.
In particular, Israel appears to have targeted Iranian “planetary mixers”, used to make solid fuel for ballistic missiles.

The exchange of weapons goes both ways and Iran had been reliant on Russian air defences to see off Israeli attacks. Iran purchased the S-300 air defence system from Moscow in a $900 million deal.
In April Israel destroyed the radar of one S-300 battery protecting the Natanz nuclear facility outside Isfahan in retaliation for earlier Iranian strikes, a combination of 300 cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and drones launched in response to the Israeli bombing of the Iranian embassy compound in Damascus.
Israel continued the destruction of Iranian air defences on Saturday, systematically destroying the remaining three S-300 batteries at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport and the Malad missile base, according to The New York Times, citing Iranian sources.

Such sa thing as ‘Collateral’ benefits?
Destroyed the Rubber Stamp ?
Arguably saving the Iranians from shooting down their own passenger aircraft, thus saving hundreds of lives!
Without air defense Iran is “naked” on the battlefield.
Israel said they have done what they intended to do and there would be no further attacks UNLESS Iran fires rockets at Israel.
So the ball is in their court. Count this as a cease fire and leave Hezabollah and Hamas to their fate, or face more attacks.
Iran, please choose wisely.
bkmk
Kill every last member of this terror group.
Why should they choose wisely?
Iran is a threat as long as its under muslim control.
Let them make some stupid move.
Yeah, good luck with that
Good strike, but not enough. Iran needs to be a sheet of glass, otherwise the cockroaches continue to spawn.
Is Iran asking Russia for their money back?
If you're referring to Obama's support of Iran, it seems to be. By taking out the S-300 defense at the nuke facility, it also seems they are going eliminate the facility forthcoming.
Since the Hamas massacre on October 7, Bibi and most of Israel has had enough and waging all out warfare on Hamas, Hezbollah, and NOW Iran. I support Israel in every way even if collateral damage occurs.
DON'T START NO SHIT, THERE WON'T BE NO SHIT. Things were calm until Hamas got uppity. They are almost eradicated and Hezbollah is on the ropes. I believe the Mullahs of Iran are not as smart as they think by using proxies, nor are they as powerful as they claim.
I hope Israel has further plans for Iran and its awful leadership. Maybe the ME can have peace again as President Trump initiated with the Abraham Accords. The Hamas attack that caused this latest war would not have happened under Trump's policies. And no, I don't want any of our men and women put in harms way. The IDF and Mossad can handle this and are doing so. Always remember the genius of blowing up Hezbollah leaders with pagers and radio phones. I hope our military leaders are learning from Israel's tactics.
I suspect sleepy Joe Biden will be making some calls to see how much $$$ Iran needs before he has to head to the old folks home.
Nobody expected Israel's plan because it was so far out of the box it would be a laughably unbelievable plot twist in fictional spy novel or Hollywood Grade C direct to pay per view movie .
Strike mean Iran. Smile at nice Iran.
Caroline Glick has additional info on this that is not fully apparent from how it’s being covered on most news sites (unofficial nuke sites that were hit).

A curse on both their houses.
The biggest problem is that even though we have the evidence of the successful Iranian hits on Nevatim, there is zero evidence of the Israeli success in hitting air defenses. The profile of the attack in the combination with the lack of evidence colors me sceptical.

If the Israeli think they knocked out Iran’s air defenses and are wrong they will pay a high price for being wrong.
Regardless of what we may believe the only thing that matters is do the Israelis believe they knocked out Iran’s air defenses
Only Iran knows for sure.
Israel doesn’t fly sorties over Iran, and, unlike Iran, it lacks in long range fires.
Israel can literally claim everything, nobody is going to question it nor it is verifiable otherwise.
