The way the presidential candidates are wrapping up their campaigns could not be more different. Former President Donald Trump is ending on the positive message that he will solve the country’s problems. Vice President Kamala Harris, increasingly desperate, is repeating her rant that Mr. Trump is bad.

Everyone who will vote in the Nov. 5 contest has lived through both administrations. Under Mr. Trump, people remember low inflation, a more secure southern border and a more peaceful world. With Ms. Harris serving under President Biden, the economy crumbled, inflation reached 40-year highs, the border was effectively erased and the world caught fire from military conflicts in which the United States is involved.
That’s “Orange Hitler” don’t you know?
Trump is winning by sticking to the issues and the solutions, rather than pleasing his base with nicknames and attacking fellow Republicans with conservative history as good as his own.
Tucker said it best, “Dad’s home - and he’s pissed!”
Democrats have been acting like a bunch of unsupervised latch-key kids with mom’s credit card, and now daddy’s (MAGA) home.
NBC just said Trump, for the first time, is easing ahead. You know it must be R E A L L Y bad for Cackles, the Coke Nose.
Amusing.
And true. Negative campaigning works. Study after study after study says it does.
If you don’t do it, you won’t win.
I pray to God that I don’t get the opportunity to say, “I told you so,” when the extent of Democrat vote manipulation and outright fraud becomes obvious and Harris-Walz “win” the election. Two mailboxes in two part s of the country were just burned. Someone stuffed flaming paper or maybe just kitchen matches into them. It will be much more flagrant than even in 2020 and the Democrats will circumlocute saying “ha! there’s not a damned thing you can or will do about it!” I hope enough states have tightened up on their voting systems to leave most of the cheating in states that are foregone, even with honest voti counting. Democrat ins.

True — if you define it properly. Negative campaignin can involve real issues that rightfully concern voters. “Harris slept her way to the top” would be negative campaigning; but voters have a right to know how their leaders got to where they are.
