CLEVELAND, Ohio— A Port Clinton woman was arrested on Tuesday and accused of organizing and promoting a street takeover in Cleveland, officials said.
Ashlyn Rogers, 23, is charged in Cleveland Municipal Court with aggravated riot and possessing criminal tools, both fifth-degree felonies.
She is in the Cuyahoga County Jail awaiting her first court appearance on Wednesday.
Cleveland police raided the woman’s home about 7 a.m., according to Cleveland police spokesman Sgt. Wilfredo Diaz. Investigators reported seizing the woman’s 2020 Infinity Q50 and three guns, including a rifle.
Police said Rogers was an “active promoter and participant” in the Sept. 28 street takeovers across Cleveland that included hundreds of people commandeering at least 16 intersections, highways and parking lots across the city.
Drivers drove in endless and reckless circles, while others lit fires, clogged traffic and filmed it. Several took control of Interstate 90, attacking vehicles and drivers who attempted to leave.
Rogers is the second person to be charged in connection with the Sept. 28 takeover. A South Euclid man was arrested last week in connection with the takeover.
Cleveland police, facing intense scrutiny from city officials, set up a task force to investigate. That taskforce was involved in Tuesday’s arrest, officials said.
Another young white liberal female. Bet her parents are well off, too.
There’s a QOS tattoo on her somewhere.

Another supporter of the commie rat party doing what they do best: make everyone else miserable.
Finally some life in the city of light and magic. It’s been a bit dull ever since the last ten cent beer night.
What were they protesting?
Wonder if she is another perp, Jordan Cortez McDonald’s girlfriend, and what groups they belonged to. Reportedly they cleaned up their social media before the sites could be looked at.

Might not be a liberal... IF these are no political street rod meet events as the press claims.
One of the 7 arrested is a black guy, she is white, the crowds I saw looked mixed.
But...with roots in Oakland... and a similar meet up just weeks before in Indianapolis which turned l violent towards cops... tha “car meets” could be cover for anarchists.
“...The history goes back to the 1980s in Oakland, California, where people put on what they called “sideshows.” They did not start out as “wild, violent, out-of-control street events that we often see depicted on the evening news,” one reporter wrote for a local paper in 2009. The events were informal, late-night social gatherings for Black teens in East Oakland who were trying to escape community violence. They also have a global reach — Australians typically call it “hooning.””
