To: Red Badger

I have very strong feelings about how easily antidepressants are handed out without real follow up. Doctors act like they are a panacea and will solve whatever the problem is, but the fact is, they don’t really help a problem, they mask it. People who take them go through very little therapy once they’re on them.

They’re also dangerous because missing even one dose can produce a very ill effect. Missing several is a real problem. Yet, the medical establishment hands them out like they’re candy and harmless.

Clinical Depression requires therapy and some medications.

Doctors are playing Russian Roulette by just prescribing the meds, and hoping that the ‘problem’ will just go away...............
