My father always used to say that a smart person can always act the role of an idiot but an idiot can never act the role of a smart person. Even those of us who live in deep blue states still need to go out and vote early too. While we can’t help add EV’s to Trump’s total we can maybe help narrow Harris’s winning margins with the goal of helping Trump win the popular vote as well.

It’s fairly common for some children to chose a different religion than their parents, especially, when it’s essentially a single parent family.
Both my parents were deeply religious, but for a few of my late teen years, I declared myself an Agnostic, to my Dad’s horror. It was a stage.
