My wife and I went to vote early yesterday in my east Texas town, and it was a first for us. We have never had to stand in line to vote - ever. And, the line was long and full of people I know are republicans. I hope this is an indicator or the outcome. But, as I always say, winning the vote is one thing. Actually getting sworn in is another.
There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s just Democrats will turn good into evil. I’m voting today.
I’ll be voting today, I’ll take some covfefe!
Glad to hear about the lines. Tarrant county( Fort Worth)had several people complaining they voted Trump on machine but it came out Harris on printed ballot. Dallas is having problems too. Of course Harris county(Houston) is a mess.
The election in my district for State Rep to Austin has the Dem spending who knows how much with TV ads, mailings and internet ads that pop up all day long.
Demx want this state.
Excellent!
Same in central AR last Monday, the first day of early voting.
Lined up out the door, apparently for much of the day.
There were a few visibly-apparent Harris voters.
Good point. I guess it is similar to how more people who are dissatisfied with a product or service will write a review, while those who are satisfied generally won’t bother.
Then, why are Trump, Trump Jr and Elon pushing for it?

I think because of what happened in Arizona when many conservatives were disenfranchised when the printers conveniently stopped working and people couldn’t vote.
Also, they say you never know what can happen on election day, like you get sick, or a hurricane happen.
They use our sense of patriotism against us.

It’s kinda like —be damned if you do or be damned if you
don’t. I voted yesterday and it took just over two hours to
complete the process.
Thank you. Let us know how it goes.
Surely This time Dems can’t get away with shutting down vote counting early and start counting again with no GOP watchers.
All we have to worry about is the illegals/ non citizens they registered to vote.
Ditto in Bexar County, and it’s not because all hispanics are Democrats. It’s because the Republican machine is full of rusty, incompetent and “good old boy/girl” types who don’t know how to woo hispanics and blacks, and the Democrat DEI machine may as well be a Mafia organization.
Trump has voted early.
That's the way it is with Democrats.
Good post—best explanation for supporting early voting I have seen.
I had forgotten about the Arizona issues—glad you reminded us.
East Texas here as well. Early voted Monday, stood in line for about 30 minutes. Got to the first table, handed Black woman sitting there my driver license. Not Voter Registration card—they don’t want that. Machine scanned my DL into the system, verified I was who I was and lived where I lived, and I was asked to verbally verify my address.
So I did, and was handed a digital pen to sign my name on the screen. And also touched the square that said “complete”.
Then, nothing happened. She just sat there, and I asked, uh, well, is there something wrong? ( Why isn’t the screen advancing to where it prints out my ticket to hand to the next person, who gives me a blank card stock ballot and a code to enter into the voting machine)?
Black lady continues to sit there, but has now turned the screen towards her. Hm, I just don’t understand this…hmm..hmm…
White gentleman (another election worker) quickly hurried over, looked at the screen, and said to her, “You have not placed your initials in the square here. Put your initials in the square and hit enter.”
Her excuse? “Oh, I must be getting tired.”
I’d admit, she was a smidge older than me, but she was perking right along like clockwork until she got to me. Then she just suddenly drew a blank.
So I finally got my little ticket, some minutes later, that I gave to a man, who gave me a code and a blank ballot paper to feed into the voting machine.
I then voted, carefully examining my printed out ballot before feeding it into another machine for collection and safekeeping. And tabulation. Well, this I hope.
Didn’t have this issue last time. If she did this to anyone else there, she should be told to saddle up and ride. My opinion, just with me, if she’s that tired, get someone else. Too important a task to delegate to anyone not up to the task.
Might’ve kept me from voting.
But I would not have left the place before quietly obtaining some answers and relief. And a prompt call to law enforcement.
Biden won the cheat vote.
East Texas is strongly conservative, good to hear. I’m up in central Texas, seems pretty heavy here too.
Harris County is likely to elect every office as a Democrat.
The states largest county ALL DEMOCRATS.
None of the early votes are assured of being recorded properly, as local governments “assure the integrity of the early cast votes” in their Democrat-laden offices.
You see, on Election Day, we have poll watchers and media watching and being able to question things until, and after, the counts and votes are done. On these non-Election Day votes, no one watches what is done, save for you watching your ballot get rung up on a machine. That machine will be unattended for weeks at night, and even during the day, because you won't be there to make sure counts were legitimate for the offices.
The same thing happens with mailed-in ballots. The Post Office and Democrat Minions are “assuring” your ballot gets there and is properly scanned, but on this, you aren't even there. Mailed ballots are supposed to be opened in front of representatives from both parties, but what assurance do you have that the Republican isn‘t a Democrat that switched to help the Democrats? Also, how do you know if the pieces of mail are actually from the people shown on the envelope? The USPS did a great job in 2020 of bringing in envelopes after hours from fraudulent people, yet, everyone who voted “checked out” as legit.
We went to vote yesterday and the line was soooooo long neither one of us could stand in line that long (we’re old) but we’ll keep trying......besides November 5 will be held in our city hall and we may HAVE to wait till then. Go MAGA!
I’ve read it is cheaper for the party to vote early. Supposedly it costs the republican party more when you vote on the actual election day. The earlier you vote, the less it costs. True? Idk but honestly, I don’t get that excuse for voting early. I tend to agree that voting early gives the dems an idea on how many fake votes they need to create to win. My husband and I will vote ON election day here in NC.
