One of the few things that the US military still gets right is that they understand one of the costs they must pay is the destruction of very expensive hardware when DEI is the priority, so when we hear of similar events, they never tell us what the root cause is (even though it’s always DEI).
The obvious question that comes from this is whether the US military understands that DEI will lead to military defeats against other countries, and if so, do they even care anymore?
Maybe the captain just decided the ship identified as a reef and was helping it to transition?
