TDS BACKFIRES with TRUMP UNDER-POLLING (vanity)
self ^ | 10/18/24 | chiller-self

Posted on 10/18/2024 11:55:47 AM PDT by chiller

Recent poll numbers edging toward Trump have us thinking.... because they're showing slight leads in formerly blue swing states and even national polls.

Most pollsters then reference Trump’s history from ’16 and ’20 and his under-polling, winning by more or losing by less than anticipated, enforcing speculation that current Trump support is stronger than most will admit.

We see it in an apparent plurality of Harris/D yard signs vs. a scarcity of Trump signs in most purple & blue areas. We hear it in the vitriol hurled at any and all Trump supporters.

Trump supporters are hesitant to announce support for Donald J. Trump because we don’t want yard signs or property stolen or damaged, or argue with someone unwilling to listen to common sense, while Harris liberals feel superior and unafraid to speak it from their moral high ground.

Ds are children who embrace ‘feel good’ over reality. Rs are the adults in this equation and the kids don’t like it.

Trump derangement syndrome has hidden support for Trump, largely sent it underground and it has confounded D strategists. They don’t know what they’re up against.

It’s time to sit them in the corner and shut them the hell up, win all branches of government and put this country back on track. This is the time.

Trump's shy support is not necessarily a virtue, but I believe is real. Your opinions please

The MSM, who most of the uncommitted and squishy middle listens to, wants everyone to believe the polls are undercounting Harris this time.

I believe it is real. I’m just not sure there’s enough support to get past the fraud.

Are any measures being taken by Trump’s campaign to watch for fraud?

I believe we are experiencing the least shy Trump vote than ever before. Especially among first time voters.

I think it IS a virtue.

Conservatives want to mind their own business and they want others to mind their own business - in other words less government. Leftists want more government - so getting vocal and involved in politics is right up their ally and is the last thing in the world a conservative wants.

Think of it local politics. There is a town council in my town full of leftists always drumming up new rules and zoning ordinances the rest of will have to abide by.

I complain about it and my wife says instead of complaining why don’t I get involved - why don’t I run for office and run the town the way it should be run.

The answer of course is that I just want to mind my own business and be left alone - getting on town council just makes me part of the problem - now I have a say in how we mind other people’s business - that’s the very last thing I want to be doing.

On a macro level, I feel like that is a conservative’s dilemma - “If you can’t beat them, join them” is just not a solution for us.

So yes, I think not answering polls IS a virtue.. minding our own business is exactly what we need to be doing.

Does anyone honestly believe the globalists have come this far to simply let Trump win in a FAIR election??? They tried to kill him twice, jail him, attack him, slander him, lie about him, etc.

I believe if it were a free and fair election he would take 46 states....

**************

That is a huge undertaking for a campaign to do with their resources
and attacks from the many directions. With items like transportation
communication, etc. it is hard for a single entity to have the resources
to do so. It takes a lot of effort from many entities/areas/groups to do so.

In my section of my blue city I have seen exactly **2** Harris signs.

It is amazing. In previous years cars and lawns were plastered with DemoNrat sign. This year? Nothing! Anywhere I go in the greater metropolitan area. ( DemoNrat or Repub.)

Are other Freepers seen this phenomena?

"MSM...wants everyone to believe the polls are undercounting Harris this time."

I've not see that, but that is a very, very tough sell. Wishin', hoping' and prayin' won't make it happen.

As mentioned downstream, our shyness, our desire to be left alone, to mind our own --and your--damn business, is slightly improved this season as Ds have no creditability with which to counter. nor have I ever seen one of ours shout down one of theirs.

Trump's populism has begun to make it clear the old D party of the JFK era has become the elite party and now wears that badge that Rs once wore. It has been an astounding flip of party, positions, and policy.

No.

Trump’s populism has made it clear BOTH parties are elite Swamp filth. This is why Independent numbers have exploded.

IIRC, 1 to 2K lawyers are on the job and have made gains PRE-voting, so it’s not nuthin’ by any means. Ds likely have a larger lawfare crew ready to go, but we’re not sitting ducks as before.

“I believe if it were a free and fair election he would take 46 states....“

Easily.. maybe more…. but they cheat in so many ways.. not just directly but also indirectly..

Just imagine for example what the result would be if all our institutions - government - media - academia - saw fit to tell the truth!

I wouldn’t lie on a survey but I’m not putting a sticker in my Challenger window.

To what end? A broken window?

If we actually get courage one day and take on antifa and blm...I’ll be there.

I’m not wasting my possessions or my life over a sign.

But if we have to and have the courage to step up if it’s needed, I’ll be there for that.

Trump!

“I wouldn’t lie on a survey but I’m not putting a sticker in my Challenger window”

The old Sensei once said, weapons are to be felt and not seen.

When not Broadcasting intent or virtue signaling you are in effect a concealed weapon... and you own the night... (insert E-vile laughter here).

Not shy around here when it comes to yard signs, but I would be reluctant to be honest with a pollster. You don’t know who they really are.

With the exception of the abortion issue, Trump leads handily in all of the top issues yet is routinely reported as losing to Harris by 1-2 points. How do they explain that? Well if they’re going to steal the election again they need a reasonable explanation.
