Arkansas womb raider learns her fate for killing pregnant mom and unborn baby she tried to pass off as her own

The woman who kidnapped and killed a pregnant mother from Arkansas in an attempt to claim the baby as her own learned her fate on Tuesday.

Amber Waterman, 44, from Missouri, will spend the rest of her days behind bars for the brutal slaying of 33-year-old Ashley Bush and her unborn child.

She is ordered to serve two consecutive sentences of life in a federal correctional facility with no chance of parole, according to Law and Crime.

Less than a week before the scheduled October 21 trial date, her husband, Jaime Waterman, changed his plea to guilty for his hand in the senseless slaying.

Despite knowing that his wife had kidnapped and killed Bush, prosecutors claim that he took part in covering up the crime.

He is facing one count of being an accessory to the death that occurred after the kidnapping scheme.

The selfish ploy was executed by the pair 'for the purpose and benefit of claiming the child as their own.'

On Halloween of 2022, police responded to the Longview store in Pineville in the early hours of the evening after an emergency call came in about a baby not breathing.

Waterman claimed to the first responders on the scene that she had just given birth to the child in the truck while on the way to the hospital.

Sorry - IMO, Rule 303 should apply.

They showed no mercy, they should receive none as well.

This is not the Skidmore Missouri incident. The victim in that case was Bobbie Jo Stinnett.

Somehow, the woman looks exactly the way I thought she would look.

Where does such evil come from? I understand the evils that happen in war not that I approve it. I do not understand planned evil such as this. I am a proponent of the death penalty but applied for great evil. Any per-meditated murder is great evil. A murder of passion can be great evil or not. This murder of mother and child can not be described properly as to its degree of evil. I hope they are put in the general population in prison.

I wish stupid people new how stupid they were, that they were too stupid to get away with a crime, that they were going to destroy their own lives - even if the lives of others mean nothing to them.

“learned her fate on Tuesday. Amber Waterman, 44, from Missouri, will spend the rest of her days behind bars”

Ge, euthanize seems a lot lot more appropriate punishment for her crime instead of her spending maybe 50 years living. on taxpayer expense.

Oddly enough it springs from a natural desire to mate and raise offspring.

But it twisted until only their desires mattered and once that happens there is nothing people will not do.

That is what evil is you know. Taking what is good and normal and twisting it because only YOU matter. Call it Pride or Ego it is the true Original Sin.

Meanwhile, her victim has no life to spend the rest of on anything.

Death penalty is the only acceptable option here.

Interesting she got two life sentences when the abortion supporting feds presume the kid is just tissue until it starts paying taxes.

I always ask abortion supporters if they think it’s worse to kill a pregnant woman than one that’s not, or are those equal crimes.

They always say the pregnant one is but when I ask why, they have an odd look on their face, like they never had quite thought about that angle before. Doesn’t seem to change their opinion on abortion though.

Ha. I once disposed of a dead deer, rather than pay $800 that I did not have for a legal clean up, and concluded that any investigation would have nailed me.

In many states, an attacker who injures a pregnant woman and her child so that the child is born alive and then dies faces greater penalties than the one who hurts them enough that the child dies before birth.

Throw a pregnant woman to the ground so that she delivers prematurely and the baby dies after, it’s a homicide charge. Same attack and baby dies before birth, aggravated assault on the mother, baby’s death is a freebie, except as an aggravating circumstance - if prosecutor and judge place any value at all on an unborn child. Legal discretion.

Kick the mother in the belly with the intent to kill the child, dose her with abortifacients, shoot the unborn child - baby born dead, aggravated assault on the mother. The more deadly, intentional, and efficient the attack, the lighter the penalty.

Abortion rights pervert the law, the heart and good sense.

“Very poor taste.”

Agree 100%, but that’s Fleet Street for you. At least they keep us informed.
