Russia Plotting New Battalion of North Koreans for Ukraine War: Reports

Russia is reportedly assembling a battalion of North Korean nationals to help push Ukraine's forces out of Kursk.

In an apparent effort to remedy its waning forces, the North Korean soldiers will form a "special Buryat battalion," named after the Mongolic ethnic group, indigenous to the region spanning Siberia as well as northern Mongolia and China.

The battalion is anticipated to comprise up to 3,000 North Korean soldiers and is currently being equipped with small arms and ammunition.

This North Korean unit will complement the Buryat presence in the Russian army, currently one of the most overrepresented groups by their percentage of the country's population.

Imagine the language barrier.

Russian language has no relation to the Korean language.

Hawaii has made a name for itself in coffee production with its world-famous Kona. California is a newcomer to the competition and doesn’t produce a significant volume of coffee ​beans.

Thanks for the fine comment about coffee. Isn't it interesting that so many of the “kaboom” and other monetized YouTube channels posted to FR threads about “coffee” are a little silent as the “coffee” grinds on, more finely as the days and weeks pass. Perhaps the “brew” is getting a little weak these days for an avid “coffee drinker.”

Vote Trump in 2024, it is assured that we agree. :)

In the 60’s the South Korean forces made quite an impression on any Vietnamese enemy forces they faced. The ROK’s were feared by the Vietnamese troops.
