Iran’s new President, Masoud Pezeshkian, met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, on October 11. The meeting is part of an Iranian charm offensive in recent years designed to cosy up to Moscow. This has also included practical initiatives that have had dangerous destabilising results. Iran has, for example, transferred its Shahed 136 drones to Russia and they have been used against Ukraine. The drones are the tip of the iceberg because Iran is also interested in other military-to-military relationships with Russia over ballistic missiles and other weaponry.
While the Iranian trade in drones to Russia hss helped Moscow against Ukraine, it appears Iran is now trying to call in favours with Russia regarding Iran’s multi-front war against Israel. On Sunday a Hezbollah drone struck an IDF training base in central Israel, killing four soldiers and wounding more than 60 others. This was the worst Hezbollah drone strike in 12 months of war. However, it follows a second deadly drone attack from Iraq that killed two IDF soldiers in the Golan earlier in October. In that incident more than 20 IDF soldiers were injured.
This deadly drone proliferation, to Hezbollah and other Iranian-backed militias, is part of the Iranians’ plan to create threats to Israel on multiple fronts. Iran mobilises proxies in multiple countries to do this. Recent evidence from documents found in Gaza also reveals that Hamas contacted Hezbollah and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to seek their support and coordination regarding the October 7 attack.
Moscow is increasingly part of the wider anti-Western alliance that backs Hamas (and Moscow’s war in Ukraine). The Russia-Iran axis is now key to this, and it poses an increasing threat Israel – to drag the Middle East into more wars.

The neocons and the MIC is behind this growing disaster that is evolving into WW3.
Yup. I don’t think countries around the world are just getting out of bed and deciding to hate us more than usual. I think that bad behavior by Biden-Harris is causing problems — causing other countries to hate us more than usual. And I think that the neocons and MIC are stoking those fires because that’s where the money is. I think America needs to realize that We are The Bad Guys on the world stage at this point.
Doesn’t the Bible and Nostredamus also refer to Persia/Iran and missiles launched as part of run up to end times?
The entire Russia-Iran axis was vastly enhanced by the western manufactured destabilization of Syria.
Iran moved Hezbollah into Syria to aid Assad, growing Assad’s need for Iran and grwing Iran’s Hezbollah’s use of Syria. Syria had no need for the large Russian presence there, until the western insitagted “Syrian opposition” “revolt” led to the destabilization of Syria.
Syria, as far as U.S. and Israeli security concerns, went from a stable and under control security situation, to one where Russian and Iranian interests were greatly boosted.
One could even say that getting rid of Saddam, which one would think eliminated any Iranian need for nukes, not only failed to realize that but hugely increased Iranian influence in Ira.
I remember during the war in Iraq how we often got reports that many of the IED’s being used by Sunni and Shia militias there had been made in Iran, and we knew it, and we never went after the Iranian sources of them in Iran.
putin is evil. Only stupid or destructive people support him, imo.
yes and no
Hamas and Hezballah have zero future, they’re being returned to their homes in Jahannam (Muslim Hell)
the Iranian dictatorship is very weak with its population, with its military, and with its economy. it survives mostly by extreme repression at home and by exporting terrorism abroad. And by a whole lot of bravado propaganda. AND by scarfing up billions and billions of free dollars given to it by USA and the EuroNazis. Why the ruling elites of these countries continue to prop up the Iranian dictatorship has to do with their (traitorous and imho insane) desires to have the Iranians nuke the West (including their “Great Satan” the USA which contains their 7 or 8 repeatedly-announced first stage targets). What happens pro or con in the Gulf region is simply not their number one concern.
Russia is, despite a lot of recent articles to the contrary, still a pretty powerful country. However, it is quite busy (to put it mildly) with other matters right now. It basically cannot get directly involved in a shooting war in the Gulf or anywhere else other than on its immediate borders — where it “has its hands full” with active shooting fronts, threatened shooting fronts, and threatened or potentially-quite-realistic foreign invasions.
What to do? Shut down the Iranian danger to the West and its neighbors (can be done expeditiously primarily by USAF already stationed in the region). Remove traitors from positions of power in the West (probably much harder to accomplish). Keep a good guard up and otherwise get on with life, a much much safer and saner life indeed.
