I do believe in Free Speech.

But I don’t think it’s OK that 99% of Major Media is primarily in the business of helping the Democrats and hurting the Republicans. That’s not what the First Amendment is for.

I’d like the FCC to start stomping on media that is blatantly biased. Of course, that is somewhat subjective. But for decades, there have been “mistakes” in media coverage, and for decades, 100% of the “mistakes” have benefited the Democrats.

I’d like the FCC to try and be fair, but it they make any “mistakes” and some of those “mistakes” seem unfair and punitive to the Democrats, then [shrug] that’s just how it goes.

But businesses like the NYT, CNN, and MSNBC should probably be driven into bankruptcy.

Break up the media conglomerates, don’t allow newspaper companies to own TV companies and vice versa.

I don’t mind them being biased as long as I know I can find other sources of information that are not.

It’s when the government wants to pre-empt any ‘other sources’ that the Constitution gets mangled.

Having a third party censor your publication is no different than the government doing it directly. Like hiring a hit-man to do your dirty work, you are just as guilty as the hit-man, even though you didn’t pull the trigger.................
