Republican Vice-Presidential candidate JD Vance has slammed ABC News host Martha Raddatz during an interview on Sunday.
Vance and Raddatz discussed the influx of illegal migrants and Venezuelan gang members who took over apartment buildings in Aurora, Colorado.
Of the migrants arrested back in September, many of them had possible connections to Tren de Aragua (TdA), a violent Venezuelan migrant gang.
The host pressed Vance on comments he and former US president Donald Trump made about migrant gangs during a campaign rally.
“I’m going to stop you because I know exactly what happened. I’m going to stop you. The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns. A handful of problems,” she said.
Vance quickly shut down Raddatz’s comments, with him defending Trump’s comments and slamming Vice President Kamala Harris.
“Martha, do you hear yourself? Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs, and Donald Trump is the problem and not Kamala Harris’ open border,” Vance said.

Anyone who has faced higher auto insurance, home insurance, renters insurance, or health insurance rates over the past 4 years has been impacted by these gangs and the lack of following the legally mandated vetting procedures for public health and public safety.

The hidden word in all of this is complexes. How many apartments in those complexes? Ten, twenty, one hundred, five hundred, one thousand? It wasn’t four or five duplexes like Martha wants us to believe.

Martha wouldn’t know about TDA gangs or apartment complexes, her million dollar Arlington neighborhood only has the non violent MS-13 and single family homes.
