COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Body camera video showing deputies helping the Cobb County sheriff with a faulty fast food order started grabbing the attention of voters on Friday.
“The video definitely tuned me in,” said Sophia Farook.
Channel 2 Action News obtained three body camera videos from the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office.
Each one shows a deputy responding to the Burger King on Veterans Memorial Highway in Mableton on March 4, 2023.
In the videos, the deputies approach Cobb County Sheriff Craig Owens, Sr. in his truck parked in the parking lot.
He tells one of them, “Hey, do me a favor. I need to get, all I need is the owner name of whoever owns this damn facility or the manager.”
“I wanted her [passenger] a Whopper, no mayo, cut in half, right?” Owens said.
The deputies listen as he said, “I don’t need no damn money back no more. I just need to find out who owns this place so I can do an official complaint.”
They do not ask why the sheriff was unable to get the information himself.
They approach the restaurant doors.
The employees had locked themselves inside.
They open the doors for the three deputies.

My very first encounter with a Karen was years ago in a Burglar King. I was in line waiting to order, and Karen came flying through the door and started screeching over something missing from her drive-thru order. I stood behind her making rude gestures hoping to get the unfortunate high school kids behind the counter to laugh, but it didn’t work. I never considered that she might call the cops, but back then it was unthinkable.
His command of the english language is impressive.
Fulton is the boil on the butt here in GA.

His talent is wasted as Sheriff. He knows the right way to serve a burger at Burger King. He can be the King of Burger.
I go to fast food rarely but I sort of expect them to eff it up because they’re working in fast food and they don’t give a damn, and they don’t disappoint. I have never said a word to them about it because it’s just cheap food and I can’t make myself much give a damn either.
The biggest threat to American democracy is *stupid people*.
Needed her burger cut in half? Are we sure she was 18?

The Burger King in River’s Edge in Rio Rancho, NM used to be notoriously slow, and it was that way for years. They couldn’t get an order out in less than 20 or 30 minutes.
For all I know, it’s still like that. We left that place 18 years ago.
I can’t count the number of times I wanted to call the cops when I asked a teenybopper at a fast food joint for some salt and they put their nose up in the air and handed me one tiny packet.

A little hard to believe, really.
Was this the real sheriff? Real deputies?
And toss in all the out of state liberals that have been infecting the state for years.
There was an active movement, Flip the 6th, that was all about Cobb, north Fulton.
It started getting really bad with Deal and thrown into overdrive with Kemp.
No different than what Perry started in Texas. What politicians started in Tennessee, North Carolina.
I haven’t been to Booger King in years. They were always slow and usually screwed up the order, no matter what location I went to. Plus I really hate their stupid jingle in the TV ads that are shown every two minutes on every channel.
Ohmigosh. What a waste of taxpayers’ dollars, having to pay this jerk a salary. Throw him out of office. He’s certainly not a “Grady Judd” type of sheriff. ☹️
Could be his daughter - that would explain the redaction. Or it could be something else.
So you aren't a gambler? That's the excitement of going to Burger King. Take the bag home before you open it. Sometimes you are the winner (extra fries? and upgraded burger?) Sometimes you are the loser (no sandwich at all).
Have it their way.
Usually there's at least one employee that can speak English.
I have yet to win that game.
