A UK-type answer would be 21 years and 1 day.
Anyway, if you don’t want to get dementia, the BEST thing you can do as you get older (really at any age) is cut back on CARBS as much as you can (and yes, zero is just fine).

Never understood the attraction of alcohol. My uncle had liver and throat cancer from drinking and smoking. It was a race between the two which would kill him first. We don’t know which did it, since his wife gave us three stories about his passing.

My mother in law went to a doctor at age 90. She outlived 3 husbands. The doctor asked her…”my gosh how much do you drink?” She said “3 double vodkas every night. One for each of my dead husbands.” True story. She died at 92.
