King Charles was once behind the wheel of a UFO that zipped across the skies of a tiny coastal community in Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1975.
At least, he did if you take the word of a Canadian diver featured in a new documentary exploring the British royal family’s ties with aliens.
Dan Costello told The King of UFO’s director, Mark Christopher Lee, that he saw the then-Prince of Wales inside a prototype craft at Sandy Point.
At the time, Costello alleged, Charles was positioned nearby at HMS Endeavour serving as a helicopter pilot when he was summoned for a secret mission known as ‘Project Serpico’
The submersible vehicle he helmed discharged a bluish ionic flame, referring to the electrically charged particle, that scorched the earth underneath it.
Oh, and it also turned the soil into grass, apparently.
‘The craft had dual rotor blades like a helicopter, but it would also just sit and hover in the sky with the blades not on and with no sound of propulsion just a faint crackle of electromagnetism,’ Costello claimed.
‘I don’t think it was extraterrestrial but might be technology developed by Nikolai Tesla who had a facility here and now this was being used by the US, Canadian and British Military.’
Nikolai Tesla was an eccentric electrical engineer who never quite reached the popularity of other genius inventors like the lightbulb-making Thomas Edison. He’s the man behind the fantastical Tesla coil that generates long, lightning-like strings of electricity.
Even Lee, a movie-maker with a keen interest in UFOs, feels Costello’s claims are ‘seem quite far fetched’, he tells Metro.
‘I’ve literally interviewed five or six times for over 10 hours – his story has been consistent and the technical detail he has supplied has been astonishing – you only see about seven minutes of him in the film,’ Lee explains.
‘I also looked into the area where he claims it happened and there are large underwater caissons and the British Navy did have a presence here combined with Prince Charles being stationed as a helicopter pilot on HMS Endeavour – so it does seem possible.’
Charles, according to Lee, has long had a keen interest in all things little green men. The King of UFOs, the documentary streaming on Amazon Prime and Tubi, also claims that Prince Philip was a stickler for alien sightings too.
But as the Ministry of Defence no longer publically probes UFOs – officials only did so between 1997 and 2009 – Charles being upfront about his fascination would cause ‘political embarrassment’ for the King and the government, Lee says.
‘I have been contacted by someone close to Charles that claims Charles had a UFO experience so I’m sure he does believe there is something in the skies that we can’t explain,’ Lee alleges.
Like Costello, Lee suggests that the UFO, which stands for unidentified flying object but now often called unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), Charles reportedly rode might not be out of this world.
‘What I thought was important with this story – it is fun – but also looks at whether the UFOs people are seeing today… is actually human technology and not extraterrestrial,’ Lee says.
‘There could be an advanced tech that has been developed and kept secret,’ he adds, noting that officials may use the cover of ‘UFOs’ to hide such devices.
A 2000 study undertaken by Defence Intelligence, a military spy agency, found that most sightings in the 1990s tended to be rogue weather balloons, Chinese lanterns or film faults.
Lee says he has written to Buckingham Palace to have Costello’s allegations confirmed or denied – palace officials have not responded.
But Lee believes that if the king can be interested in the possibility of life not of this world, the public and politicians should be able to, too.
‘UFOs or UAPs are taken very seriously in the US and are a non-partisan issue with both Republicans and Democrats coming together to push for full UFO disclosure,’ Lee says.
‘We need the same here – in the UK it’s still a jokey snigger snigger issue of little green men.’
After all, about one in two Britons believe aliens exist and nearly one in 10 claim to have seen a UFO, a 2021 YouGov poll found.
‘If we did get first contact, King Charles would have an important role to play,’ Lee adds, ‘to allay his people’s fears and to help us all find our way in a new world.’
Whatever ET wants, the answer is “no”

Why would that clown be “picked” to fly a UFO?

The other day, Tucker and Musk had a conversation about UFOs ; Musk said he doesn’t believe in aliens because we have thousands of satellites in our atmosphere, and not one has ever been hit, and that he’s never seen any real evidence of UFOs. He said the unusual craft that pilots have seen are secret government technology, that the government has several secret programs that work on inventing and producing craft such as have been seen.
