Why are 50% of Americans dumb?

Posted on 10/10/2024 8:41:48 AM PDT by 2nd Amendment

I am perplexed why 50% or more Americans are clinically retarded. From voting for Obama to Biden to the current resident moron Kamala Harris. Some has postulated our Dewey influenced educational system. Some have said the removal of prayer and morality in our schools. Some have said the role of the media after the opinionated Vietnam era. I believe there was a time with candidates and presidents like Adlai Stevenson, Harry S Truman and JFK where democratic policies were sane and patriotic. What say you about why the party has devolved to a party of demonic stupidity and America hating?

Yes, I’ve heard 40-50% of all Americans depend on the government either directly or indirectly for their income.

One is diet and the poisoning of our food system by those such as Bill Gates. Two is our educational system that doesn’t teach critical thinking skills or the basics of reading, writing, and math. Three is importing “breeders” from third-world countries who have an IQ of 80 or less.

I’m sure there is a 4, 5, and 6, but I’m still in coffee-drinking mode and am taking copious amounts of drugs for my back injury, and can’t think of them right off the top of my head.

Just about everything that you hate from LBJ were actually JFK’s policies, passed in his memory, from immigration to the Civil Rights bill, to Vietnam and the radical 60s, our first affirmative action (JFK), putting the mental people onto the streets (JFK), unionizing the federal workers (JFK) and so on.

Ansel you might be right! I’m willing to stand corrected. Unlike other keyboard warriors, I’m willing to learn. My family did support Richard Nixon in 1960 and he would have won without the Cook County cheat. I guess I might be trying to suck up to the Kennedys now that RFKjr is onboard.

“Part of it is in your post, you think JFK was not a radical leftist, a Marxist as Reagan labelled him.”

Contrast “ask what you can do for your country” with “vote for us and we’ll give you (other people’s) stuff”. Guess he wasn’t much of a Marxist.

Public education has been oriented towards making them that way on purpose to effect totalitarian control. It is all deliberate. Been there, done that and have seen it with my own eyes and nursed the bump on my head when they threw me out.

50% of the American electorate has been thoroughly brainwashed by the commie left wing MSM, couple that with teachers and professors doing their share of brainwashing. There are many elderly voters who will vote RAT no matter who the candidate is, as their family has been voting RAT through the ages.

A good example of the thread topic and of how a catchy phrase can affect some people, no wonder Obama did so well.

A propaganda machine that encompasses news, information, entertainment, and sports that would make anything that Goebbels or Orwell imagined pale in comparison.

A school and university system that disseminates and tolerates only one point of view.

Bingo! Control the information a person gets, and you control their views.

I know a fair number of very smart Democratic party supporters.

Their understanding of the universe, and how it works, is far, far different than conservatives, because they get their information almost entirely from far left sources. The far left controls much more media than Conservatives do. The far left has recruited most school teachers and controls most of the colleges and universities.

The far left has no compunction about lying to obtain political power.

I always head 80/20. While 80/20 might make the best burger, it makes a piss poor population.

That said, I like the 80-15-5 division.

Part of the answer is demonic influence. And part is that half the country is placed in a position of parasitism. Either they are on welfare, or serve the government as bureaucrats, academics, teachers, or other functionaries, or in allied institutions in the media that depend on rule by bureaucratic elites in power in the government.

These people are not going to vote for freedom for the productive class because it means the end of the gravy train for them, as well as loss of power for the self-anointed elites. That's why it literally does not matter that Biden or Harris or Walz are drooling idiots. They are just figureheads for the bureaucratic elites, and it is that system of power (contra the facade of the constitutional republic) that they are voting for.

Sorry, it spans political parties and ideologies.

I believe the problem is due in part to people not learning how to think critically, an inability to discern useful information from sources they would not normally read (and sources they often read) and an inability to synthesize viewpoints, etc on issues and topics.

Some of this is probably due to ignorance, some due to willful ignorance (people reading and believe what they agree with) and yes, some is due to a lack of intellectual abilities.

It’s gotten worse over the past 20 years or so. Hopefully there is some marginal improvement. But the echo chamber is strong on both sides of the ideological aisle.

I don't believe that 50% of the population is dumb. Most eligible voters don't vote.

But to FReeper 2nd Amendment's point, of the ones who do vote, half of them are dumb. And religiously so. (Again, there's the voter fraud, so maybe not half of them are dumb.)

They're the ones who are religiously convinced that global warming causes blizzards. That the earth has only 10 years left -- this time they mean it. That pulling a baby apart limb-by-limb in abortion is not gruesome murder -- it was just a clump of cells.

They also believe way too much double-think. Like that cops are evil, and the only people who should be allowed to carry guns are cops. That people are born straight or gay, which means automatically attracted to males or females with no choice of their own; but they're not born automatically male of female themselves, they choose that.

Why are 50% of Americans dumb?

Because they've been told they have an informed view.
