Russian President Vladimir Putin supposedly demolished his beloved summer residence in southern Russia due to his fear of being killed in a Ukrainian drone strike.
The Bocharov Ruchey residence in Sochi appeared to have been torn down in February or March, leaving a dirt pit and construction materials behind, according to satellite images obtained by the Russian opposition outlet Proekt.
Putin, 72, allegedly felt a “threat to his physical safety” at the Black Sea resort after Sochi was hit by multiple drone attacks, Proekt said.
In September 2023, in particular, plumes of smoke and flames were seen at the site of a blitzed oil depot not far from the sprawling property.

Putin typically spent at least 30 days per year at the sprawling complex, which was renovated in 2014 for the Sochi Olympics, the Moscow Times reported.
His visits to the residence, however, started to taper off after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
In 2023, he only spent eight days there, and he is not believed to have been to the compound at all since March this year, the outlet said.

US Navy confirmed to have been at the Nord Stream bombing area, raising concerns of American involvement
Although Western corporate media have attempted to blame Ukraine for detonating the pipeline, veteran journalist Seymour Hersh wrote over a year ago that it was the doing of the United States.

Seymour Hersh? lol!
Bob Woodward? lol!
That’s funny. ABC News what a joke!
Don’t tear it down. List it on VRBO.
So, he tore it down to prevent it being torn down?
ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!
(((PING!)))
... to be added to the best Zeeper-provided entertainment since Paul Shanklin parodies, ping me bro.
Why wouldn’t he just leave it empty and use it as bait?
Or sell it?
I doubt this story. Not the demolition, but rather the reason behind it.
Also, Putin shot himself in the head to avoid a sniper attack.
What if he gets paranoid about assassination?
“Bob Woodward? lol!”
I wonder if he thinks this is better or worse than Watergate. Worse, probably.
But that was then, and now a different song is playing with relentless Russian advances – remember, that only in August and September, about 820 square kilometers (509 square miles) came under Russian control.
Oh wow. He spent about 30 days a year there. The rest of the time it collected dust. Maybe he’s planning on building a much bigger one that resembles Mar-a-lago.
