Harris response: They have batteries, just run the chain saws off of batteries.

If you had a couple 100w solar panels, you could charge up a couple 18v batteries in a sunny day and gut 1 medium-to-small tree trunk or a half dozen limbs. heh.

Jamaican/Indians aren’t familiar with how electric chainsaws work. Probably one of her student loan deadbeat “advisor’s” idea.

I hope they sent a bunch of gas-powered generators, too.
I got a Milwaukee cordless chain saw on sale because I already had several M18 batteries on hand. Handy saw for quick light-duty jobs but I have a gas-powered Stihl for the big jobs.

This is impressive government stupidity, but not peak stupidity.
Peak stupidity will be when the government sends in the electric chain saws but when they unpack the saws, people find the government has sent electric leaf blowers by mistake.

There is now an all out WAR being waged against common sense.
And unfortunately, currently we are losing badly.

More Government DEI being displayed?

“Now...as to recharging the batteries.”
Harris Response #2: They have plenty of power available. All they have to do is take it from one of the big red things in their garage.

Maybe I have been sheltered all my life but I have never seen an electric chain saw ever.
I bet the govt paid $2000 per chain saw and someone was happy to unload a warehouse full of unwanted ELECTRIC chain saws. What’s next? Electric generators????
