[232 lbs. in February to 186 today. Goal is 160.]

Nice. Good job. 186 would be my goal. When I got sick in 2021, likely COVID-19(84) I got down to 228. Now I gotta work to get back to that. 40lbs down from that (without getting sick) would be GREAT.

A gradual approach and coaching can keep you from overdoing it to the point of ill health. I encourage you to give it a try after consulting your physician.

Keep moving!

Start off slow... as in a slow mile...or, ½ mile. (A mall, school track, your neighborhood, if safe, a treadmill if you can afford one.)

Build up, increasing distance and speed/week.

Before you know it, you’ll be up to 3-4 good clip miles.

Don’t forget your Vit D3/K2, Vit C and Vit B12...and, water, lots of water.

God bless!

I’ve been stuck at 185 for 2-3 years. My goal is 160, but is just stays where it is.
The most I have ever weighed was 198...
I don’t even eat much.. I eat in 1 day what most people eat for 1 meal.
(All you can eat Buffet (like the other thread) isn’t worth it to me, since I wouldn’t be eating much anyway.
That was a small issue in Japan, like when you go with friends (or your company) to eat and drink while enjoying relaxing time together...
I would eat a karaage chicken, or 2 (1 karaage is a chunk of cut chicken meat battered and fried.. about the same amount of meat as a chicken leg).. And at the end, everyone splits up the cost equally (would usually round to $50-$100 each). I usually had the karaage with 2 to 5 drinks.
(Then, some of us would go to Karaoke, lol.)
