but then what would they do?
“. . . FEMA told them that a “road closed” sign is an insurmountable obstacle for the agency to navigate.”
That is the very first thing they teach you in federal woke training classes.
This is all right out of “Atlas Shrugged”.
Dagny Taggert tries to race around and fix the world’s problems and keeps running into little people who say, “That’s against the rules. I don’t want to get into trouble”.
The Bee missed another one
If Trump were President, he would have got the job done.
How can anyone in NC vote Harris, after this?
US Government- Afraid of road closed signs and sloped roofs.
Can somebody throw a large drop cloth over that sign and secure it with duct tape?
That should help FEMA figure out what to do next.
“Hi, we’re from the government and we’re here to make sure proper procedures are followed.”

Bat Cave is an unincorporated community in Henderson County, North Carolina, United States and is part of the Asheville Metropolitan Statistical Area. Named after a bat cave located on Bluerock Mountain (also known as Bat Cave Mountain), it is the largest known augen gneiss granite fissure cave in North America and is a protected area, not open to the public.[4] It has frequently been noted on lists of unusual place names[5][6] and is also a regular victim of street sign theft, especially in the early 1990s during the popularity of the movie Batman Returns.

There’s an old saying; lead, follow or get the f#@k out of the way.
The Feds should apply #3.
road closed, sloped roof, what’s the diff?
FEMA skank Criswell went on National TV to whine that people were being disrespectful to her agency because of their catastrophic failure to do their jobs ... whined that their just criticism was dangerous. What a piece of sh-t.
