Once again, Lahaina comes to mind..
It's not just the piddly $750 being handed out by FEMA to residents in North Carolina and other states whose homes were destroyed in Hurricane Helene. (A similar amount was handed out to residents of Lahaina, Hawaii, after their town was destroyed by fire.)
It's the lethal incompetence.
Just as cops taking orders from state government officials blocked Lahaina residents in cars from escaping the inferno -- the only survivors were those who defied them and drove through the blockades -- FEMA officials from the federal government are doing all they can to block the delivery of aid to people in the hardest hurricane-hit rural areas, where people need food, water, medicine, shelter and everything else and have been completely cut off from civilization. They're actually stopping them, as if they were trespassers and saying just trust the government.
That might work when people have time, but these hurricane victims don't have time. Their need for aid is immediate.

I just watched a short clip of man complaining about not being able to get a hotel room because the rooms are full of disaster relief people..
Shut down DC, get rid of all of them.
Gross negligence, financial mismanagement, poorly defined objectives, abuse of purposeful FEMA funds. That’s the story of the Obiden regime.
Foreign criminals get more rights and assistance over the taxpayers who made FEMA possible.
Add to this the story the locals tell of Biden arriving not only in his own747, carrying nothing but Biden, along with other airplanes and helicopters carrying nothing but his fleet of black SUVs. He and blocked the air space the whole time he was there, preventing other aircraft from bring actual aid and support for the inhabitants.

I've been watching reports about rescue efforts for days. Tell us, dear FReeper of seven months with no other information, what you do and how all of these citizens are lying. Why should they when their only priority is getting help to those in need and damn the politics?
