The smell of mimeo fluid brings back memories of my elementary school days.

I grew up on a northern town in a house with no central AC, so much of my childhood springs, summers and autumns were spent sleeping with open windows with screens.

We lived two houses down from an ARCO gas station and every Saturday morning the delivery truck would come to fill the station's tanks and the smell of gasoline would waft across the neighborhood. Because it was Saturday, I associated the smell with cartoons and no school. I've loved the smell of gas since then.

Had a friend in the 60’s his younger brother age 7 was found more than once on the riding lawn mower with the gas cap off and he was huffing the fumes found him passed out once.

Don’t know how long he lived the 60’s was the beginning of the end for many.
