MOSCOW, Russia — Russia strongly condemns Israel’s killing of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, its Foreign Ministry says, calling on Israel to stop hostilities in Lebanon.
“This forceful action is fraught with even greater dramatic consequences for Lebanon and the entire Middle East,” the ministry says in a statement.

Someone mail Vlad a dictionary and flat the page defining “WAR”
I suppose the reason that the USA never touched Hezbollah was because of Russia complaining. Hezbollah and Iran should have been evaporated in 1983.
Where’s the demands for the Islamic terrorists to stop attacking Israel? Israel has every right and obligation to defend itself. End of story.
So, Did Russia demand Hezbollah to stop their attacks ( which they started)?
I must have missed it.
Russia is upset about loosing one of its top customers.
Flak is heaviest over the target...Israel is doing well.
Hey, Sergey, maybe you should concentrate on the conflict going on in Ukraine.
You Rus can't seem to even get your own game together there so giving other countries
advice on how to prosecute their military ventures seems a little overly ambitious IMO.
The head of the snake is in Iran. The snakes food is oil. Take out Kharg Island, 80% of their oil is exported from Kharg Island. Hit the pumping stations on the pipelines to get the other 20%. Iran would collapse and the snake would die.
Israel vs. aggressive Muslim neighbors. This, unfortunately, will be an endless war. All Israel can do is keep her opponents off-balance.
I see no other realistic scenario. The Muslim world has been radicalized. And Israel of course would never accept the “from the river to the sea” condition.
And since I’m rambling here, I’ll place a good portion of the blame on George W. Bush. After 9/11 Bush could have rallied the entire civilized world against radical Islam. It was a once in a millennium chance.
But Bush botched the job. “Islam means peace,” he said. And now the radicals are stronger than ever.
Well, this explains the unusual number of very concerned Freepers expressing their worry about the poor civilian casualties in Lebanon. Of course, there is no concern for the dead and homeless Israeli citizens.
The Russian Love on this site is really something. I never knew we had that many “enlightened” folks around here.
Have you heard of how Internet works? How it brings people together? It also brings a lot of Russian trolls, who desperately want to avoid “special military operation” in Ukraine by claiming they serve Putin with their keyboards instead.
Tucker Carlson never condemned the October 7th terror attacks on Israel, either.
“Russia blasts killing of Nasrallah, demands Israel stop attacks”
Easy comeback for Israel...
“Sure as soon as you stop attacking Ukraine!”
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
C,mon, Vlad!
Lebanon has a Christian community that needs to be free of Hezbollah tyranny!
You know, if I were in Bibi’s position, I’d be awful tempted to reply to Russia, Iran, and other constantly saber-rattling nuke-threatening nations with some old Eighties lyrics from Cabaret Voltaire (specifically from their song “Don’t Argue”)
“It’s not right to leave everyone wonderin’ how...
I say: ‘If you’re gonna drop it, then drop it NOW’”
Sooner or later, one is forced to s**t, or get off the pot.
Indeed.

I think you’re mistaking “hating putin AND zzzelllinskyy” for “Russian love”.
I speak only for myself:
I love the innocents of Russia (and Ukraine), which is most of them, as I am commanded to do. I want the killing to STOP before it takes out two or three generations of them. And I want the corrupt globohomo Zzzzellinskyyy to hang, and rot. He is not part of the solution, the son of a bitch is part of the problem. (Or do you approve of his election interference on behalf of the anti-American globalists?)
On Putin’s recent comment referenced in this thread: my attitude is “FOAD, Putin”.
Clear?
Aww, those Russians. Always playing peacemaker.
While Russia only hits civilian targets.
