In a new ad from The Lincoln Project, Sam Elliott's iconic voice tackles gender bias in voting head-on.
Known for his roles in several movies and television shows, the "Tombstone" actor delivers a no-nonsense message in the voiceover, peppered with some colorful language, urging Americans to back Kamala Harris as the nation's first female President.
The Lincoln Project, a group of ex-Republican consultants, has built a reputation for its direct, hard-hitting ads aimed at opposing Donald Trump’s agenda.

Another great star who was decent was James Earl Jones.
So, surprise, surprise. Guess who’s now a special kind of stupid?
I have always been a Sam Elliott fan since the first movie I saw him in .which was I think, Lifeguard and he was in so many great westerns and TV westerns with Tom Selleck.
Now I have another actor who is a disappointment. Please why can’t celebrities just keep their mouths shut and let me have some Escapism from Life and Politics?????
I know how you feel.
“He called General Custer the “P” word in the movie ‘We Were Soldiers”.”
A script writer wrote that line. But I know John Wayne, Jimmy Steward and Audie Murphy would have never uttered it.
Well, that’s disappointing. I always assumed he was at least somewhat conservative.
Not that he makes a lot of movies anymore, But I can’t imagine that I’d watch any with him in the future.
Yep..... his was an amazing story.
RIP JEJ.
Sounds like he has eaten too much mustache
True, but he was already ugly.
Was just making a wild guess. Guaranteed there is something tim walz about him.
this fraud also is a USAA spokesman
you know what to do
O.M.G. I am so shocked. To think of how much my mother loves Sam Elliott, and how much I’ve loved his acting career. I am beyond devastated and frankly disgusted.
I think that’s a different person with the same name. AI is always going around and getting people mixed up.

F U Sam, you’re off my tv for good.
A few years ago someone here on FR posted a comment in response to something an actor, I think it was Cher said about politics It has remained a favorite of mine “There’s a reason the Roman Republic didn’t let actors or prostitutes vote.
Sam Elliott is DEMANDING something.
:)
It’s hard to see Sam Elliot as a Democrat. My guess is he is a Bush league Republican.
+1
A sage observation. It also explains why they are so hungry to be seen as smart or as an advocate for causes etc.
They are empty vessels, and like they say, the hollow drum is the loudest...
