After all the news regarding government injecting 20,000 Haitians into Springfield Ohio, if you were looking to purchase a home in Ohio for your family, or a home for retirement, would you even consider Springfield now?
I would guess most would not even consider it at this point. You would think the people still living in Springfield would have some type of recourse for the economic harm and damages done to them by those responsible in government.
And we know it will get much worse for those in Springfield, once all the Haitian's extended families, cousins, uncles and friends start arriving. That too is coming...Bet the rent.
I doubt there’s many to buy.
A nuke plant, tire fire, Bart Simpson and Haitians? Nope
20k Haitians is worse than a toxic spill in East Palestine.
You would be wrong:

Springfield’s public services are being overwhelmed by the influx of Haitians, but it not a post-apocalyptic hellscape either.
20,000 Haitians produce a lot of Droppings
No where in Ohio.
I’ve never owned a home in my life, and at 77 years of age, I wouldn’t start now, and especially not in Springfield, Ohio.

People seem to be more upset by the charge of pet-eating than the fact that someone decided to plot 20,000 Haitians into their midst. Who was that someone? Does anyone know?
If you capture any biz opportunity there, it’d be worth moving.
Maybe open an authentic haitian restaurant (have off-menu pets for special customers only).
You could also open a voodoo magic herb store.
On the darker side, you could sell spells including curses and probably even start up a zombie-slave contracting biz as long as you kept it under the radar. That one may also require purchasing a field as a voodoo cemetery.
What a great way to absolutely destroy a community! It’s sickening.

“No, but I will take a free one.🏡
And a car.” 🚗
The relatives are already there. That is what caused the increase in population from 5,000 to 20,000.
We had a similar situation with Boat People back in the day. One group moved in and within a year there were 20 people living across the street.
It’s taken years, but they assimilated. But there was a significant clash of cultures those first few years.
Different Springfield
This one is just full of illegals that’ll eat your cat and crash in to your car.
Clicked your link, saw lots of homes FOR SALE.
Your point?
Regards,
Decades ago when my company got bought out, the y tried to get us to relocate to Ohio from SoCal.
Lots of laughter.
If I wanted to live around Haitians and enjoy fine Haitian culture I would move there. They do not belong here unassimilated.
It’s showing the site is down right now.
No, but I would really like to know who was purchasing houses in Springfield beginning January 2021 through January 2023.
FReepers does anyone besides me remember the many posts about Blackrock and other similar companies buying up houses across the USA?
Just maybe, they were buying the houses to rent to Biden’s NEWCOMERS!!!!!!!
